I recently played nine holes with the Tour Premium and nine holes with the Titleist HP Tour. I think the Precept Tour Premium is among the very best balls I have ever played. I usually play a Professional or Balata and would not hesitate to play the Tour Premium anytime. It does scuff much easier than the Professional but I preferred its feel, trajectory and stopping ability. It also putted very well. It was probably as good an all around ball as I have ever played. This is probably the most under-advertised ball around.

Great ball but scuffs easily on full wedge shots. This is suppose to be the same ball as the Nike Tour Accuracy at a lower cost. Try the Tour Premium....you'll like it.

Ok...what can I say other than I LOVE THIS BALL! Ive played them all, and for one reason or another, I ended up switching to something else. Too soft, too hard, too delicate...blah, blah, blah. Not the Precept. Its plenty long, plenty durable, and feels great off the club and while putting. I cant think of any other critirea to judge a ball by. These babies do it all and I cant imagine using anything else, ever.

Oh yeah...they wont kill your pocket book either. At about $31 a dozen, they arent the cheapest ball out there, but you wont find one that out performs it. And if you just cant spend $30+ on balls, then look at some of Precepts other offerings. They make balls from about $20 a dozen on up.

If you like controlable spin, length off the tee, great feel and consistant putting this is the ball. I have played just about everyball out there and this has to be the best ball for me.

Great ball. It spins a lot with soft feel. The distance is just as good as the revolution and professional. The only bad thing about this ball is it lacks durability big time. Wedge shots scuff easily. If you have the money to buy lots of them then it's your ball.

Wow, simply put, the best ball out there. I have tried them all, I started out when I got pretty good (low 80's) with the Titleist Professionals. Plainly put, I hate hitting marshmallows. How can you tell me I'm not losing distance. Next, I played Revolutions for awhile. These are good balls, but I still felt around the green, I was losing some spin. I played Slazenger Selects, Srixons, Smart Cores, Stratas. But finally, I played the Tour Premiums. WOW, these had great distance off the tee, but still had that soft feel around the green. The only other ball that has come close was the Revolution, but when tested one on one, these balls just dont have that bite and spin that the precepts do. I was afraid I might be losing distance, so I hit 5 tour premiums and 5 revolutions off the tee and 4 par 5's that day (it was slow). The precepts were longer, yet have softer feel and better spin. Amazing, everything you will hear about these balls being the best is true. One downside though compared with the revs, a little less durable cover, so here is the answer, dont hit the cart path or trees, lol, if you stay away from that then they are pretty durable.

This is a fantastic ball, suitable for mid to low handicappers. The performance is every bit as lively as the Professional, more lively than the Revolution and goes as far or further than both. It's construction is slightly different than the more traditional (wound) Professional and Revolution, but this is proof positive that we know have the technology to create a "players' ball" without windings. It putts as nice as any ball out there and hitting it into the green is like throwing a dart. Precept has arrived. (and the reviewer who said this was the same ball as the Nike T.A. was correct...)

I have been playing Titleist Tour Prestige and Taylor Made InerGel Pro this year. The InerGels would be a good ball if they didn't scuff and cut so easily. The most I played one of those without major damage was 3 holes! The Tour Prestige is a very good ball, durable, soft, spins well. But for a few dollars less, the Tour Premium is a GREAT ball. Very soft, great feeling ball. Good distance. And man does this thing stop! The short irons are probably the best part of my game (at least they were yesterday when I played these) and I was able to take shots at pins that I normally wouldn't go for. The ball actually stopped within a club length on a 7 iron! With my sand wedge (rusted Cleveland gunmetal) it actually came back a few feet! I love these balls! Off the driver, I could hit a nice hard low drive, the flight is low and gets a good roll. They also feel soft and roll true on the dance floor. I seriously will buy more of these and recommend them to anyone with a handicap of <18 who wants a soft ball with good distance and great spin. The Titleist Tour Prestige is a great ball, but these are better and have another feature--lower price (although not cheap!)
