Take this with a grain of salt. It''s the off season in the Northeast. I have been practicing putting on my carpet at home with Callaway CB1 Blue ball. So far from a putting perspective, this ball is great for putting. It rolls and keeps its line well. Nice "click" off the putter. It is a lively ball, with a modicum of spin. The true test will be outdoors on actual greens and in play. I did try them out late in the season on practice green along with such balls at the Nike Power Distance Feel-Speed and the Pinnacle Precision Spin. At that time I wasn''t to hep with the CB1-Blue. However, further testing and practice at home on the carpet and in indoor golf nets leads me to think that I would strongly consider putting the ball into play in the upcoming season. I have played golf for four years now, and I have found that with me, if I find a certain "connection" with a piece of golf equipment, such as the Carbite DC Putter I bought in the fall, I have learned to go with that club, ball, shoe, etc.. I feel a "connection" with the CB1-Blue.

Am trying to find right ball for my game. Used to play mostly Titleist Professionals (too soft) and then went to the Precept Tour Premium (spins too much). Recently got a dozen of the CB1 to play because they were out of the Rule 35. I was surprized. Great distance, great feel, and for a 2 piece ball, good backspin. Very few people know this, but the Callaway balls have seams like the Pro V1. Line the seam to the target off the tee and watch it go! Line it up perpendicular to the target (like on a par three) and watch it fly higher than normal. Tried it for two rounds and couldn''t believe it. Since I play the ball down, that works on only 18 shots--but I noticed a true difference on all 18 shots! The ball is does not bite around the green like the Pro V1. But I like a little release and roll so it has a chance to go it.

Decent distance and good spin for a cheaper 2 piece ball. Feels pretty good putting and around the green. Definitely a good ball for the price.
