Excellent Ball. Played with the same ball for 18 holes. Soft feel and great spin on it. Good on the greens and from the tee box. A winner and definitely will stay in my bag.

Superbly designed ball. Doesn't spin too early off the driver, decent distance. Cuts through wind surprisingly well. Excellent spin on short irons. Especially good for holding firm fast greens. Soft feel and spin is a pleasure for chips/pitches. Reminds me of a modern ball for long game and the old balata balls for short game. This ball is a winner, especially for shotmaker type games. Only gripe, cover is fairly easy to score/peel....but it's only money.

This is honestly the best ball I have ever played. The Tour may like the Pro V1, but that ball spins too much on my full shots. The HX Tour 56 spins enough to stop the ball, but it doesn't bring the ball to roll backwards. And its short-game spin is just right. Bunker shots don't roll much either.

I received a sleeve of these balls as a gift and tried them out. Good distance off the tee and a soft feel to the ball. The ball also played well around the green. But for a person that loses a ball here and there the price isn't worth it when there are cheaper balls out there that perform just as well.

Wow, all I can say is what a ball. I love the distance and control on these guys. The feel could be a little better, but its still decent. On July 7th, I did 2 different rounds, the first I shot an HX hot, then an HX tour 56. With the HX hot I had a 1 over par 73. Then with The HX tour 56, I was hitting the ball 15-20 yards further with a better feel. I shot more less the same the second round, but I ended up with a 5 under 67. This is an overall great ball.

I find that this plays very similar to the ProV1 while the HX Tour is more like the V1x. That being said, I enjoy both the V1 and the 56, and usually end up playing one ball until a few bogeys pop us and then switch. Good psycological tool...or maybe Im just supersitcious. The price of all Golf Balls should be cut in half.

I really like the feel of this ball, they are really really soft, and have a great feel around the greens. There are not the longest ball I have ever used, but that really doesn’t bother me. They spin a fair bit which I like in a ball. Most people are saying that they aren’t very durable, but for me after 18 holes there is normally only 1 mark at most. They are have also come down in price recently over here in Australia. I got a dozen for $64 at the house of golf, which is $10 cheaper than a dozen Pro V’s, and I have found that I prefer the HX tour as well now.

This ball is simply the optimal combination of distance, spin, and feel. Period.

I have played balls from many major manufacturers, including the #1 ball in golf's 1 and 1x, and the HX Tour 56 is better because its provide more consistent distance control and softer feel around the greens.

Try it. You will not go back.

like all are saying this is the softest feeling ball of the bunch. I love it around the greens. so much control. i find it hard to believe that some reviewers are saying it's durable. check your grooves! I shred this ball unfortunately way to quickly. It's not the longest ball by any means for me. I hit the bridgestone 330's about 10 yds longer or even the callaway hot's further. I can't see myself spending the money any longer for how little life I get out of these balls. I am bummed because I really do love the feel of the ball and it's controlability around the greens.

This is my new ball. I've played the Prov1 & 1x for quite a while. This ball is as good and better. It seems slightly longer off the driver with less side spin than the Prov1 for me. The HX tour ball is a little longer, but the 56 is awesome around the greens and very soft. Callaway made it a little more durable, but my '06 big bertha irons still peel them on the wedges. It's pricey, but it's the best ball on the market right now IMO.
