This balls does everything and feels great too. I used to use different balls on different types of holes (low spin and low compression for par 5's, soft high spin balls on par 3's, etc.) but it certainly helps to have a ball that can do all of that. It putts better than any ball out there in my opinion and is almost longer than any ball out there (the low compression balls like the Lady and Noodle are a few yards longer but they don't have the control, spin or feel of the Revolution). I really wish they didn't discontinue the Revolution but the one thing I can't complain about is that you can now get them at a fraction of their original cost.

I've been playing for a few years, worked at a pro shop and I've hit everything under the sun. If it's anything like the original, I can't wait to test out the new Revolution EXT's though.

So sad to see this go. On hard-greened public courses the ball sits. On a good private course, the ball will dance on the green. It's great fun to fire at the pin from 90 yards in (even chipping with this ball - fire at the pin from 70 feet "hop-hop-stop style" with a "rock" ball lately?) Not as long as a Pro V1 - but not significantly so. This is an inportant point. There are plenty of soft golf balls out there, and with most, you lose a LOT of distance. Did not even like the A10 as much. Off to the shop to find a replacement. I really, really wish that they did not do away with these. Oh, well, now that Taylor-Made owns Maxfli, we might be able to look forward to the "paint it gold and double the price" mentality with respect to golf balls.

I too don't have the $$$ to buy the new ones so I went and bought some used ones...the cover is so durable its very hard to put a smile on them...it feels so much softer on putts when I put them at home off the sweetspot on my Titleist Bulleye than the Titleist Professional and the Pro V1. I can really feel the ball "click" off a well struck shot from my 845s and it flies as far as the Professional...Maxfli tried to put a solid core version of it..but its not as soft feeling...why did they try to fix something that wasnt broken???? The ball spins like a motherf***er off my Cobra Trusty Rusty Sand Wedge. Its too bad they don't make them anymore...a great golf ball that is almost half the cost new than Pro V1s.

I have been reading reviews about this ball but dont have the money to buy them. So, I bought three of them used for 0.75 each. i played them today and wow they were great. Distance was great but the spin was better! stops dead on the green with any club. And the ball is a maxfli, so you know its a long ball. The ball is great I will play them untill I lose the three I bought

i decided to try out the durability of this ball by smashing it into the woods repeatedly (about 10 times and all the ball showed was a small scratch then i gave it a wedge workout with no shavings left on the clubs and to top it of i spun it back about 3 feet with my 8 iron from about 160 yards (just to give you an i dea of the trajectory) nice ball and very durable

A truly wondeful ball. Follows the Maxfli traditioon of exceptionally soft balls. The ball has a terrific feel and spin is easy to generate. The ball spins about 8 feet with a lob wedge with a mid trajectory. It's good for drawing, fading, hitting high or low. Distance is okay, about the same as most balls. A ball for the mid to low handicap. Keeps shape very well and hence putts true. Durability is good but marks appear easily. A great ball for the golfer who values feel the most in his game.

This is easily the best golf ball I have ever played. Gets great check, and distance and durability is greater than any ball on the market. Look for me at Junior Tour events playing this ball.

Bought a dozen logo overruns at my local pro shop after seeing the great reviews on this site. The Revolution delivers everything it claims; pretty low spin off the driver/3 wood; nice spin into the green, great feel; excellent durability also. Played 1 ball for all 18 today and it had hardly a scratch. I did lose 10 yards compared to the Titleist Tour Distance SF I have been playing lately, but I suppose that is to be expected, this is a much softer ball and they don''t particularly market the distance apsects. Excellent overall. This will be my new ball!

THE V1 IS A GREAT BALL FOR THE LOW HANDICAPPER. GREAT DISTANCE,FEEL AND WORKABILITY. DRIVER HITS ARE VERY BORING AND TRUE(SEAM IT). WHEN THIS BALL HITS THE GREEN IT STOPS! UNLESS YOU ARE IN THE 70''S, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SRIXONS HI-SPIN(COSTS HALF). CAN''T WAIT TO TRY THE A-10 FROM MAXFLI(REVOLUTION IS STILL IN MY BAG)
