I got these as a gift and won't be buying them in the future. This is a four piece ball. In order for the average golfer to really benefit from the distance factor, they have to swing fast to compress that core. I don't swing that fast (97-103 m.p.h.) with a driver. So the distance factor wasn't there. Secondly, since it is a multi-layer ball, any swing problems magnify mistakes and decrease distance more and send it more off line. Third, I don't think that this ball checks as well or short flops and pitches like the ProVs or Callaway HX Tour. Hey, I'm an average golfer and perhaps can't really take advantage of this ball, but for the right golfer I'm sure this is a great ball. I prefer Titleist DT Solos and the Wilson Jack is great too, especially if you want more distance. For a good multi-layer ball especially in the wind try the HX Tour.

I have triedl Titleist Pro V 1X, Titleist NXT, Callaway Reds, and Nike Mojo. The Nike One Black is the best. It gets the distance has advertised and stays on better line on even off-center hits. However, it does not have as good of control around the greens like the Titleist Pro V 1s or X. However, I have more confidence with this ball to hit the fairway with yardage and get it on the green. The price is a bit much, but with lower scores it is worth it.

When Nike said that this was the longest ball ever made, they weren't kidding. I hit a 3 wood 300 yards today (had a slight following wind) with this ball. I'd usually only hit it around 260. Its pretty workable as well, as I've found that I can spin it pretty well with most my irons. That said, it still feels a bit harder than the Callaway HX Tour ball, which I feel is more my style. This is still a terrific ball, just not the best one for me. Highly recommended for those looking to gain yards with all clubs.

Black seems to live up to billing: Long and very solid feeling off driver, good feel around greens, solid feel putting (seems to have helped my putting distances). However, playing in Northern New England conditions are VERY soft due to rainy summer, so remains to be seen whether Blacks will work once conditions dry out.

I like to try all the new balls just to give them a shot. But I really believe these balls are the best. they are by far the longest. I hit these probably close to 10 yards further than the pro v's and Hx tours(which I both really like). But the ball is long and it has great feel around the green. A lot people complain about the price of these balls but I got 4 dozen mint on ebay for less than 80 dollars. I just feel these balls give me a little extra confidence and improves my game and that's all I can ask for.

I believe this ball to be the best of both worlds. I have played the Pro V1x for about six months. I love the distance of the ball , but I didn't care for the lack of spin achieve around the greens on delicate chip shots. The Nike One is slightly longer than the Pro V1 in my opinion, and its reaction around the greens is much better than the Pro V1x. If you play high level golf, you can go wrong with this ball. You can get these balls for about 38.00 dollars a dozen new, which also makes it a much better value than the Pro V's.

The Nike ONE ball is similar to the PRO V1 ball. It has the same responsiveness. Nike ONE has excellent distance and I can work draw or fade this ball better than most other premium balls. It has a high spin rate and holds the greens well. Like all Nike balls, it cuts and scratches easily.

I tried this ball in the hope that I could find a better ball than the HX tour, I believe this ball is better It putts alot better, and has a nicer feel than the hx tour, and spin rates are similar, so I have no complaints off the tee the hx tour is 15 yards longer than most balls at my swingspeed(103-105mph, high launch low spin conditions), but the ONE compares simaraly in the distance area, but it holds its line better, and is easier to shape, its key for me to be able to holf the ball against the wind, and this ball does not like to go straight, which is good for me, as I want to shape to order the ball flight is nice, and I think I have found the best ball around

I found this ball to be very explosive off the tee. It really jumps off the clubface and it feels somewhat softer on approaches. My only problem with the ball is that it makes my draws into hooks and my fades into bigger fades. Not a big problem but I like a little more control. Nonetheless, for a multilayered ball to have so much explosive distance is astonishing.
