Like many others, I'm shocked with the bad reviews. The SC is a good ball, not as good as the Tour Accuracy, but still good. I've used the same ball for 5 rounds, and not one scratch yet! If you don't want to pay $44 a dozen for the Tour Accuracy, the Spin Control is a good choice for you.

For 17 yrs I have shot in the 80's until last year when I bought new clubs, took lessons, and switched to the Nike golf ball. I don't know whether it is the new clubs, the new swing or the new ball, but I am able to back balls up like never before. Theses balls can't be as bad as some of these reviews have said. Maybe at some point you have to take responsibility for your own bad play and not blame it on the ball. Last month I went quail hunting and missed almost every bird. I think the shotgun shells I was using were the worst shells I have ever shot. Sound familiar?

I am also puzzled by the bad reviews. These balls are the best balls I have ever used. AWESOME DISTANCE! I nearly made a par 4 green in one! Also I outdrove my partner with a five iron, while he was using a 4 iron. The feel is unbeatable. Not marshmellowy and not a rock at all. I have used many balls and have a hard time deciding on one. Well, I have finally chose one. Also, the ball bites on the green. To me, these are better than the Precept Tour Premium in terms of balance of distance and feel. The only thing that comes close, but no cigar are the Stratas. I love the swoosh, too! :-)

This Nike(made by precept) golf ball did not give me any good results. Would not recommend this ball to anyone. I would suggest you buy a few sleeves of different brands of the same type and find one that would suit you best. The Maxfli XS tour is a great ball, plus it has a nice soft feel to it and you can save some money.

Like many of the new urethane covered balls, I liked the performance of this one. I'm puzzled at all the bad reviews in this section. Like everybody else, I like a ball that spins but doesn't sacrifice distance. This gives a little of both. I'm satisfied.
One aside though... I recently had a chance to play the precept tour premium, and thought it was outstanding, the best I've ever played. As long as a distance ball, yet I've watched in astonishment as wedge shots land on the green and do the moonwalk back to the hole. Great feel.
The prevailing rumor in the industry is that Bridgestone makes every ball with a Nike logo. The tour premium is supposed to be the same thing as the Nike Tour Accuracy.
It's tough to argue with a fifteen shot victory at the U.S. Open.

Terrible ball...expensive bad action, terrible play.. all aspects of a terrible ball. When i play with them i shot about 5 higher than with a regular ball. Remember tiger used them and he did terrible with it? costing him a win. Most people say a ball is a ball no different at all but in the nike case..

Played 4 rounds with the Nike ball until I found a XL 2000 Exceptional Spin in the water. The XL2000 is longer than the Nike and with about the same spin rate. The XL2000 is also much cheaper than the Nike.

The Nike Spin Control ball continues to be my ball of choice. This ball has great shot-shaping control, softer, more responsive feel, ultimate workability, and shear-resistand durability. I would seriously advise anyone to a scratch-18 handicapper to use this ball. I would found that the ultimate feel of a balata and the the distance of a two piece were converged in this ball. This is my ball, and i'm Travis Meyer. This ball is much better than the Dunlop and Maxfli models. This ball is around the level of the Professionals and Strata's, I would say.

A note to Michael from Colorado: you can only use one style and compression of ball per round. These ball are cheap. They get no roll on the fairway. They don't spin on the greens. The cover is cheap and cuts easier than a Balata. In my opinion these balls are a gimmick by Nike to get people to buy the balls because they are made by Nike. If the balls are so good why doesn't Tiger use them. He can tell Titleist that he will play their clubs but not their ball. What will they do, fire him? He knows these balls are cheap and won't use them. I got a sample dozen through the mail. Don't even take them if someone wants to give them to you.
