I NORMALLY PLAY THE PRO V 1X FOR LOW SPIN AND FORGIVENESS. THE LADDIE EXTREME IS AS LOW SPIN AND DRAMATICALLY LONGER (1-2 CLUBS LONGER) IT IS A LITTLE HARDER AROUND THE GREENS BUT VERY CONSISTENT. EASY TO GET USED TO. I PREFER THIS BALL AT ANY PRICE. AT $20 FOR 2 DOZEN AT TARGET, IT'S A NO BRAINER.

I have tried various golf balls and I'm currently using the Laddie Extreme and am very pleased with it. It's lively but most of all it just plain feels good to me off the tee, in the fairway, from recoveries, and around the greens. Also the price is right for my abilities. Some of my friends use the ProV's or the HX Tour and spend an excesive amount of time looking for their expensive ball when in the woods/bushes/tall grass, etc., which really irratates me and others waiting to play. I on the other hand will give it about five minutes and if I don't find my Laddie Extreme by then I simply drop another and keep play moving along because I'm only paying less than a buck ball. I'm on my third box of these balls and I haven't experienced any scuffing/peeling or cutting and that's after a couple rounds of 18 holes before I managed to drown or lose the balls. To conclude, I would recommend this ball to any level golfer with an average or slower swing speed that wants a very good and reasonably priced all around ball.

This is really a very good ball. It gives good distance off the driver and roll a long distance too. Excellent control around green and gives good soft feel. By the way, it bites well too on green. It's a littel light in weight though.I am concerned if it will balloon when playing into head wing. Overall, it's really a good ball worth trying.

Played one round of golf last week with Laddie Xtreme golf balls that I won from Ebay, was impressed with the distance off iron shots. Driver distance is about as long as my current U-tri Tour balls. I used them at a course where fairway grass was a bit tall, so maybe can't tell the rolls difference than u-tri tours. Might have more rolls if played at a firmer fairway. Xtreme did have a firmer cover than U-tour, it did not bite well as U-tour. But still showed relatively well control on the green. Solid balls @$20 a dozen to folks who want a all around ball.

I have tried the most expensive and the cheapest golf balls of nearly every spec available in search of a "perfect ball" over the past few years. The truth I've discovered is - you can spend 4.00 per ball with the ProV or other high-end balls but all you're doing is helping line the pockets of the tour players who are paid big bucks to play these balls. On the other hand you can opt to purchase the bargain-balls available at Wal-Mart or Dick's, and you'll find that your short-iron/wedge/putter shots feel like you're hitting a rock and your pitching wedge shots will never hold the green - worst than that those cheap-balls sometimes have covers that cut or scratch easily or cores that aren't perfectly round. This ball is a nice compromise price-wise (it is very affordable - low/mid range price), but performance-wise, it is absolutely awesome. Tremendous distance off my driver, nice soft-feel and high-launch trajectory with irons/wedges and great feel on the green. Unlike the other reviewer of this ball, I found the surface of this ball to be awesomely-durable... much more so than the 4.00 balls I've recently tried.. and even more so than the old Titliest DT's I played with years ago. Best of all - since it's a Precept - there's no ball-seam to worry about altering your shot's trajectory (it's tough enough to hit consistantly well when you score in the 90s... but the physics of having a seam in a ball is something that you don't have to be a rocket scientist to appreciate - a seam in your ball will alter the shot's flight characteristics and unless you're on the tee or green you aren't allowed to adjust your ball so you're stuck with how'ever the ball lands.(FYI nearly every manufacturer except Precept/Bridgestone produces balls with seams due to out-dated manufacturing processes). I'm surprised there aren't more positive reviews of this ball at this site.. it really is great - I'd recommend it to anyone who is will to spend 19.00 per dozen (or around that) on golf-balls. If you happen to have the extra money to pay 4.00 or more per ball, I'd definitely recommend picking up at least sleeve of these just to try out -- you will definitely be pleasantly surprised - I was.

great ball for the average swing speed striker. ball goes far, far, far. nice soft feel, too. only problem is that after 4 holes of just hitting fairways and greens, my ball had scuffs on the cover (no cartpaths or trees hit). cover is not durable and you'll have to replace the ball 2-3 times per round. they say the precept pwr drive is just as far but with a better cover.
