This ball beats almost everything out there except ProV but it's half the price. I was playing NXT-Tour because I'm too cheap to pay $60 a dz for ProV but even they cost $28 a dz. I was given these U-Tri Extra Spin as a part of my prize for a tournament win and wow am I impressed. I gained about 10 yards distance off the tee and they work around the greens better than NXT. Buy these now before people find out about them and the price goes up!

When I started golf a couple of years back (less than a decade of course), I was playing with many different types of balls. Well, like most beginners, you just want to keep out of water, hazards, rough and losing balls! As you started to play more seriously, you got to search for a ball that have a consistent feel that suit yourself. I tried ProV1 and love it (got a hole-in-one with it!). However, the price of ProV1 is really too high for the general public. Read a couple of reviews on web and magazine, decided to try U-Tri Extra Distance (at the same time, I also bought the U-Tri Extra Spin (am I lucky to do that). The U-Tri Extra Dist is a good ball, however, I felt that U-Tri Extra Spin has better feel and suit my needs better. With a 85mph swing speed only on the driver, Extra Spin provide a better hit on the driver (Extra Dist suppose to provide longer, but not so for me...). On the approach and wedge shot, the feel is just as incredible compared to ProV1. The downside is using it on the putting green. Quite dull though the roll is relatively true (ProV1 much better feel and roll). One other downside is that this ball tends to scuff easier than ProV1 (???) which does not makes sense. I changed the ball (if its does not get lost in water and rough..) after 2 rounds of 18holes. Hey, for the price, this is affordable. This is a MUST-GET ball for people starting to get more serious with the game. Give some consistency with all of your equipment and accessories, you should be on the way to be a better golfer (dunt be like me, changed drivers, irons, putter too many times to mention over the years....). All the best to your golf game, play well and most importantly, play it as a gentleman (or lady) - RESPECT THE GAME.

I needed a ball that would check nicely on greens, a ball that would be best with the wedges. I can hit it a good distance of the tee so never wanted a ball that would roll more. Anyways, this ball is exactly what I was lookin for. 75% of the game is the short game. My chips check beautifully and exactly how I want them to. I can put sidespin, backspin, you name it. I like to be creative and the ball lets you shape shots with your irons. With the driver it makes that lovely phut sound and gives you good carry. I played with the titleist pro v1's which are very good balls but too pricey. and it hurts when u loose a pro v and then it affects your game. overall excellent balls with even better price. good for players who want shot shaping, want to put diff kinds of spin. definitely good around greens. I still can't believe how good the price is.
