Best ball for the money. It spins good and you will not loose any distance. I Personally like them better than the pro-v because it doesnt spin as much but it spins very close to the same amount. Best golf ball for the price.

Unbelievable ball! Spent $20 for a box and am completely in love with this ball. I hit this one about 20 yards farther than my normal NXT ball and was able to stop it on a dime! There is no better ball for the price.....period! Love the Pro V1's but I think this ball is its equal....and for about 20 bucks a dozen cheaper!

I buy a lot of golf items based on reviews on this site. I bought some of these today thinking the ratings were too good to be true.

I hit these balls further than anything I have ever hit. I know other say they are short, but I play the same course several times a week.

Also, these balls flat out stop/spin on the greens better than any thing I have used - I shot a 78 and felt I could have shot a couple better. I really like these balls.

I have been searching for a 3-piece urethane cover ball that didn't cost 3 bucks a pop. I was playing in Reno recently and with the afternoon wind, decided to give the Precept U-Tri Tour ball a try since they advertised penetrating trajectory with 3-piece urethane bite on the greens. I am not a big hitter, but play consistenly with placement shots, and the two major differences I noticed were they were deadly accurate off my mid-irons (with an additional 5 yards per club), and they held their line extremely well in the wind. You point it and hit it solid, it goes there. Many shots were biting heavily, and checking up at 3-5 feet compared to my normal 2-piece 10 feet of roll. They also seemed bulletproof--used the same ball for 18 holes with nary a scuff. I saw these at both Target and Wal-mart for around $23-$24 ... and at that price even casual golfers can afford to see the difference a quality 3-piece urethane ball can make. I am very impressed, and will buy them again. Many of the $25 3-piece balls seem to have a non-urethane cover. I consider the U-Tri a bargain, especially for mid-handicappers who want to upgrade without breaking the bank.

I've used U-Tri Tour as my regular ball for 2 years, it is long enough, spins like crazy and I don't have to mortage my house to play with a new ball. Too bad they're not made any more. Get all you can at the close out prices.

After reading all the reviews, I really wanted to love this ball, but unfortunately, it just doesn't suit me. I think Precepts are great (I played the economical Laddies much of last season), but I find that with my slow swing speed, I just lose too much distance with the U-Tri's. Once I get it inside 150 yds, this ball has as good a feel as any other I've played, but by that time I've usually lost a stroke from my short, although straight, drive. Putting was very consistent as well, but at my skill level, I just couldn't get over the loss in distance off the tee. I imagine this ball would be perfect for someone who shoots in the 80's or even 90's who wants the control of a Pro V1 at half the price, but if you're a guy like me who struggles just to find the green in regulation, it may be a little out of your league. I'll stick with the cheaper "Distance" balls like the Laddie until I'm strong enough to wallop the "Control" balls out far enough off the tee.

This is an awesome ball. It's basically between the ProV1 and ProV1x in terms of trajectory, spin, and feel. Good penetrating ball fight, Soft feel at impact, adequate distace, good spin overall the best ball out there for the money. Beats One Black in terms of feel and spin, maybe not quite as long. Performs as well and more durable that the Hx tour. Go get Some!

I've wanted to try this ball but didn't buy any before they disappeared from the stores....until yesterday! As I was looking for the ball I would try this year I looked in Dicks and then went next door to Target and lo and behold, on the shelf in front of me, for $23, Precept U-Tri tours!!!!! I don't know if this is just a local deal or if it's nationwide but if you like the ball, go to your nearest Target and check it out!

Love this ball, spins, long, great feel and doesnt scuff.
I have been called tight, but I dont see the reason to spend twice as much for a ball just because it says Pro V1 on it. If it lowered my handicap one stroke fine, but I just dont buy that there is enough of a difference between the two.
I hope they continue to make this ball.
