Terrific all around golf ball, Long off the driver with not too much side spin or ballooning, great trajectory from the long - mid irons with enough spin to work the ball, incredible green stopping power from the shorter irons and a superb soft feeling ball for chipping and putting. But for me, what make this ball better than the rest is the stopping power from partial wedge shots of 75 yards and in. Just aim for your target and it will bite like no other I've tried. Durability is superb as well, Just wish it was more easily available in the UK.

Best premium ball on the market. Very long, stops well, very soft around the green, great to putt with. I have used most premium balls and found they perform similarly eg.nike one, pro v1, srixon ur-x, callaway hx etc. This ball is every bit as good as any of those but about $20 a box cheaper. Also very durable, played one for two rounds and is still good enough to use in weekend comps. If money was no object I would still play these. Lots of low markers at my club play these and they all say it's one of the best balls they have played. Higher handicaps might find cheaper balls better for their games, but for a players ball these are very hard to go past.

Have been looking long and hard for a low-cost Pro V1! Had just about given up hope of finding such a ball until I discovered the Precept U-Tri Tour. Compared to the V1, the Tour was longer off the tee, had similar spin/distance on iron shots and felt almost identical off the putter. The V1 still had a slight advantage with short-game control (chips, etc.), but the added distance off the tee with the Tour ball is a worthwhile tradeoff. Durability of the Tour is excellent. At $25-30/box, the Precept U-Tri Tour is a real bargain! Try a sleeve.... I think that you'll be similarly impressed.

Call me a ball junkie. I'm always on the lookout for the next nuclear powered, moon dust coated, heat seeking golf ball that you can backspin on water. Well, the UTRI Tour may not meet those expectations, but it comes close. To date, the best ball.....for the money..... Period. ProV1? Maybe? But sell it to me for $29.00 Give a sleeve of these a try

Customer Service

Always seem to produce good products at normal weekend golfer prices.

I have to admit I am a Precept Junkie, I have played Precept Tour Premium for the last three years. I usually play Pro-V1 in tournaments, but I have found a much more reasonable replacement. The U-Tri Tour drives straight and true, and has minimal spin if needed to shape shots. Its soft but durable cover allows pinpoint checking on the green, and has Pro-V-like feel off the putter. I will use this ball for all my rounds now. Thanks Precept, for a low-priced alternative to the "BIG BOYS".

I've played about 10 rounds with this ball. My favorite ball was the ProV1, but it's way too pricey. Started playing the UTri-Tours. This is a terrific ball. It's plenty long, feels soft, and is terrific off the putter. I thought the best putting ball was the Strata Tour Ultimate, but this is just as good. It doesn't spin excessively, but wedge shots hit and stick. At $29 per dozen, it's a great buy. Try it. You won't be sorry.

I'm always on the lookout for ball that's workable, holds its line in the wind, is long, and durable. The Pro V-1 does it, but it irks me to pay $45 a dozen. Tried the Tour today. Plenty long, excellent trajectory, spins just right, and is soft off the putter. One of the best balls I ever played. Looks like this one will make it into my bag.

Great ball. Much better value than balls that are more expensive than it (Pro V1). Driver/Long Irons: Spin is minimized enough to prevent wild slices/hooks, but not so much to prevent shaping one's shots. Mid/Short Irons: Spin is increased enough to stop shots within a short release, but not so much to cause immediate braking stops or spin backs. Putting: The ball as an average softness/hardness feel to it. Durability: Outstanding. Chances are the average golfer will lose this ball before it ever needs to be replaced. Summary: an excellent all-around ball, and great value for its capabilities. It's my new choice to put it in the bag.

These balls are every bit as good as the Titleist 'new' ProV1 and ProV1^ on driver distance (longer than both, slightly), full shot iron distance and spin (like a ProV1) and putting. They are also very durable - much more so than the Precept LS. However, I feel as though I give up too much around the greens. They don't spin much on half shots, so I can't be as aggressive as I am with the others - I'll use these for my everyday ball, but save the Titleists for my tournament golf.
