Good all-round ball for the price, although I feel the Hi-Spin is a misnomer. It really doesn't spin as much as you would expect from a ball labelled Hi-Spin, but is certainly much longer than most "spin" balls out there. If deciding between this and the Srixon Distance ball (red box) I would choose this simply because I reckon it is just as long but feels a lot softer. A good mix of spin, feel and distance for the price!

I found this ball to be an excellent value all-round product. It seemed to have a high spin rate compared to other ‘spin balls’ in the same price band combined with decent feel and distance. There are softer and longer balls available but it makes a good choice for its solid all-round performance. Spin and feel was good off medium and short irons and putting feel was also good. Off woods, feel was again good and distance also seemed better than average for a ‘spin’ ball - a good compromise; not the longest by any means but not like hitting a rock either. For me, a mid-handicapper, it performed similarly well to Maxfli’s excellent all-rounder the ‘Revolution’, with the main differences being a little less feel and control but perhaps a touch more distance. Durability seemed to be about average with abrasive wear similar to most ‘soft’ balls. Overall, the differences in all-round performance at the level I play at are (surprisingly to me) not that vast to premium balls I have used – low handicappers may disagree. If you are not a label man and don’t wish to splash out on top-of-the-line products but like to have good feel and control, especially on approach shots, this ball should give good return for a fairly modest outlay. Five stars for value.

I like this ball. Very soft, great short iron workability, and spins nice for a golfer of my status. I reccommmend this to all 85 or higher strike golfers, but to any one who needsw a decent ball at a great price!

not that impressed with this ball as a spin ball. have played 3-4 times and the spin just doent seem to be there, especially on chip shots. distance seems to be fairly good, but alot of other spin balls are better.

Reasonable distance and spin. However, the ball grows hair after the first hit with a short iron. Looks like hell after only a few holes. On balance, though, even when it is ugly it still drives well and it will continue to stick. The soft cover also makes it a pleasant ball to chip and putt. If you a budget golfer and don't mind knocking around a ball that ends up looking worse than most range balls it is a good buy. It certainly gives you the opportunity to work on your control game without going broke. If your ball has to look pristine before each hole and you have an aggressive swing, a dozen won't last a round -- look elsewhere.

i''ve tried several different kinds of balls like the callaway reds, blues, nike velocity and tour accuracy, and titleist pro v1. this ball is by far the softest ball compared to the pro v1 and others. it has high spin but the distance is a bit shorter than pro v1. as for sticking it on the green... no doubt. they do tend to get scratched up easier, but that''s because they are softest. it''s well worth buying... check ebay... got 6 dzs for $18 each. hehe :)

What a horrible golf ball. Better than top-flite/pinnacle ($20) balls, but i am outraged that Srixon has the nerve to name this a "Hi-Spin" ball. Try chipping or a sand shot with one of these. You will go straight through the green. They won''t even last one entire round, but they do have a nice feel for putting, and when you hit iron shots. Distance is just a tad above average.

Excelent product- long of the driver, good spin and good feel. Probably not as much feel as the PRO V-1 but at half the price is worth it. Only negative comment is that scuffs away easily, again at this price who cares.

I decided to try these balls after reading a review in a golf publication. At the time I was torn between the Nike Tour Accuracy and the Pro V1. I can honestly say this ball performs every bit as well as those 2 higher priced balls, with one exception. The Srixon tends to get cut up a little easier than the Nike or Pro V1. But for the price that''''s a little easier to swallow. I recommend that you try this ball if you like the performance of the more expensive balls but don''''t wanna shell out the cash. I think you''''ll be pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic feel from this balls, excellent distance and all-round confidence greenside. Great soft click off the irons and woods, smooth to chip and putt. Beautiful feel off my cleveland wedges. The price compared to ProV1''s and Callaway''s is outstanding given their feel. The only concern is their durability, as one round gave the hide a fair workout scuffwise. No biggie though given their price and secondhand balls are still in great nick.
