Titleist DT Solo Balls

Titleist DT Solo Balls

DESCRIPTION

The New Titleist DT SoLo features a soft compression, high velocity core and a soft Surlyn blend cover. This combination provides lower driver spin for long distance off the tee. The very low spin also helps golfers to minimize unintentional hook and slice sidespin for straighter distance. Unlike many other low spin distance golf balls, the DT SoLo still provides soft feel on all shots tee-to-green.

The Titleist Dt Solo is one of my favorite balls. It has long distance but is very soft just like the name says. I have ventured of into trying other balls but this always endes up at the top of my list. I shoot some of my best rounds with this ball. And the price is great for the performance it gives

I recently came across a Titleist DT So-Lo ball while looking for an errant shot. "Lose one, find one." and boy am I glad I found that Titleist. I played the remaining 14 holes with the same ball and it saved my round. I was amazed at how long it was off the tee and how true it felt around the green. The more I hit it, the more confidence I gained. This ball really stood out and I'm sold. I have enough balls stored up to last me 3 years but I'm going to purchase some of these gems. What a difference!

I'm in the process of trying and evaluating different balls for the summer season and I decide on candidates from reading reviews here. I'm generally looking for a ball that improves my short-game but doesn't cost me significant distance off the tee. To give you an idea of my preference, I really like the Pro V1 but I rather spend less on balls. My driver swing speed is 100-105 mph and I favor balls with a little less spin to compensate for my sometimes erratic swing. One of the balls I have tried this spring is the SoLo and I had pretty poor results with it. Contrary to what other posters say, I noticed a definite reduction in distance off the tee. In my estimate, the SoLo was about 15 yards shorter than both Nike Tour Accuracy DD and Pro V1. And it didn't hold up in my approach shots either. The ball flight was rather unpredictable and I was surprised at how it looked in the air a couple of times. The ball was shorter using my irons and I was also not impressed by how it held the green. It simply felt pretty average to me. In terms of putting, it was just OK. I prefer a softer feel. In the end, I rate it merely OK in value. It is certainly not a substitute for the higher priced balls that I'm looking for.

After reading a recent article in Golf Digest about the benefits of playing a low comppression ball in cooler, I bought a sleeve to try them out. I usually play the Precept UTri Tour, which is still the best premium ball for the buck, but I was pleasantly surprised by the SoLo's performance. Very long and straight off the tee and soft as can be. Even though this is a low spin ball, I found that it would hit and check pretty quick and even come back a little on full short irons. I agree with a previous reviewer--if this ball had a top player playing it, it would no doubt be played by a lot more people. All in all, a good ball at a low price.

This is a very good ball. It has low spin off the driver and does check up well. It comes off the putter soft. This is one of my favorite balls to putt with. I noticed that Not-A-Hacker wrote a number of reviews on different balls, which leads me to my next point. If anyone wants to check statistics on spin rates etc...go to Equip2Golf.com and you can compare a number of different balls and spin characteristics off driver, irons, full wedge and partial wedge shots. I used this site to help me pick a new ball. Maybe it can help you too.

Probably titleist's best offering. As an all round ball these are better than the ProV1 or X, particularly for weekend conditions. They provide good distance (heaps longer than the X for the majority of golfers), good spin and soft feel. They are surpisingly good around the greens for a surlyn ball (check batter than the over hyped X), and feel great off the putter. If titleist doubled the price of these and paid a couple of professionals to play them they'd probably be more popular with the low markers than the X. Unfortunately the low markers cannot put a ball into play without the re-assurance of a tour player using the same ball.

These golf balls are great, they are easy to hit and go very straight. For only $20- they are well worth the money. I often use the NXT Tour also made by Titleist, but these are easier to hit.

The best ball for the money on the market. It's my favorite ball of all of them and I've played the Pro V1s(too much spin for me). It gets great distance off the tee and I have no trouble stopping it on the greens.I hit a 4 iron into a fairly hard green today and it stopped within a foot of my ball mark. Granted I'm a high ball hitter so that helps too. They're also very durable.I played a whole round with one today and it looked as good on the 18th tee as it did on the 1st tee.

Great ball at a great price. Plays almost as well as the Pro V at half the price. Goes a long way, feels great and stops pretty well, even on hard greens. I am a natural high ball hitter and this stops and drops (maybe a small hop) almost as well as the Pro V - my previous ball of choice. Why spend the extra money!! Definitely the best value out there.

Nice Ball, a little hard, good distance, the best ball to putt with- moves like a billiard ball, just a tad weak on the short game- drop & stop could be better.
