For the players who shoot in the 80's, this is a great ball! It gives you exceptional distance off the driver, but also has the capability to stop on the greens because of exceptional controlled spin, which also helps you keep the ball in the fairway. Distance and controlled spin are the perfect combination to lower your handicap!

Super distance and trajectory on solid hits, coming off the club like a super ball with outstanding compression characteristics. Good feel around the green on chips and putts. Good durability with minimal out-of-roundness and cuts/shavings but some paint flaking.

Another soft ball by Titleist. A must buy, very comparable to the Professional. Too expensive though.

I will always stay with Titleist. This is a good ball. It has resonsive feel and the spin capabilities are endless. This ball is great around the green with feel and on the green for judging distance. The ball is meant for someone with a better game that strikes the ball pure. If not it's a waste of your money because even though the are inproved in durability from the Tour Balata they still get beat up and will scuff on you if not hit right. Recomend the 90comp for feel and the 100 for a little more solid feel off the tee.

In short, a lot more durable than the balata, not as soft as the Professional, but with a higher spin rate off the short irons. Good distance. Since you can't use a different ball for every shot, and no one ball has everything, the Tour Prestige is a happy middle ground. Price could certainly be $5 - $10 lower, though.

A nice compromise betweeen the Balata and Professional. Tends to cut a bit easier than the Professional, if cost is no issue play a Balata....if it is, play a Professional. I'm not sure where that leaves the Prestige, it's a great ball but I still prefer the Professional.

This ball has an excellent soft feel. Around the greens it's great. I made two incredible chips my last round and it also felt great off the putter. The only downside is it side spins too much for me off the driver and irons. I hit big slices on two approach shots but didn't feel my swing was all that bad. What I'd like is a soft feeling ball that doesn't spin so much.

Using the Tour Balata as a benchmark I found the Tour Prestige to have a slightly higher trajectory off woods and slightly less soft on chips and partial wedges, both disadvantages to me. It is a dream to putt and significantly more durable than the Tour Balata. It still looks good after 9 holes and will survive 18.

Very quick to answer technical and arcane product questions.

This ball is much closer to the Professional than it is to the Tour Balata. I get about the same distance as I do with the Professional and maybe a little more spin. Ball flight seems a little low to me. On the plus side, this means that the ball doesn't die in the wind. On the down side, I find it hard to play a high hook with it. Or a high anything. Workability is very similar to the Professional---very good, but not as predictable as the Tour Balata. Durability is much better than the Tour Balata, maybe even better than the Professional. I played two complete rounds with one. I don't remember the last time I did that with either of the other two Titleists. After two 18s the ball is scuffed a little, but not cut or out of round. This makes the ball a better value than the other Titleists, I think. Overall, this is a very good ball that solves the main problem with the Tour Balata, while retaining most of its spin. The only three real problems with the Prestige, as far as I am concerned: 1) Trajectory is a little low. It is hard to hit high shots. 2) Not exceptionally long. 3) The name. Prestige? Sounds a little pretentious doesn't it?

This is a soft ball with a lot of spin.I tried it out to see how it felt.It is mostly for a lower handicap than I have now.It does have pretty good distance for a soft ball.I loved the feeling I had using it on the green. If you need a soft ball with a lot of spin this is your ball.If you want a distance ball try the Tour Distance. The Prestige is a good ball and at $10 a sleeve or $34 a dozen the value is not too bad.It all depends on your handicap and want your needs are.
