Please read Golfer54's review dated June 14, 2005. It is dead on accurate. I too have been playing the ProV1 and think I'm going to switch to the Strata Tour TL. I get a more penetrating flight with the Strata (that's good!) and the ball really does spin more around the green that the ProV1. Good feel off the putter. Give 'em a try.

The very first ball I ever used when I started the game(a wee 6 year old)was a Top Flite. So I am somewhat of a loyalist and only play Top Flite balls. The TL Tour certainly plays the same compared to a Pro V1. The only difference, the price of course. I believe it flies a little better than last year's Top Flite Strata Tour Ace. What I did find compared to the TL Distance ball by the same company, is the TL Tour flies farther and handles much better around the greens. For me, it was not even close when I played a round using both balls to make a comparison. The TL Tour, not a bad ball. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about it's cousin the TL Distance ball.

I have played all of the premium balls and must say the new Strata Tour TL is as good a ball as any in terms of distance, feel & trajectory. An added bonus is that you will pay $10-$12 less than the others. Buy a sleeve and give them a try!

I recently purchased the new Top Flite tour ball. I have been playing the Pro V. It goes the same distance as the Pro v for me. It seems to wear just fine. I played the last ball 18 holes with no problem. The thing for me that I like better is it spins around the greens better for me. I hit a lot of low chips shots and these check better than the pro v. Also here where I play they are 10.00 dollars a dozen cheaper.
