Like them a lot. Good all round ball. Once I hit it with a driver and iron I understand why they gave it its name. Good distance and feel. Only thing is it gets scratched up quick. Just like to rip it. For the price you get now it is hard to beat.

This is a good overall ball for most golfers. I got some for free in an outing and thought I would never play this type of ball. However, after giving them a try, I got to like them and bought some more. Them seem as long as anything I have tried, and feel good comming off the driver. Feel with the irons is also very good. I spin my short irons and wedges alot, and after playing in the spirng and spinning some wedges back off the green some 30 feet with the Maxfli revolutions, I switched full time this summer to this ball. I tired the Revoltion solid and didn't like it at all compared to the wound Revs or this ball. I tired some ProV1's, and they seemed to spin WAY too much for me off the irons.

The spin of the Wilson seemed very consistant no matter the club and firmness of the greens on full shots. Hit once, bounce, spin back to just about where it lands.

Where they lack somewhat for me is around the greens, you just can't spin them much from 20 yards in, they play somewhat more like a old hard covered ball. However, putting was surpirsing soft feeling.

Another negative was they seem to scuff up a bit, but I do that to a lot of different brands. On my local course I hit a lot of short irons and wedges, and the ball gets pretty bad looking real fast.

But geez, for $14.99 a dozen, I would highly recommend this ball.

Now I'm just waiting for the new Maxfli A 10. Ian Woosnam used them at the British Open, and Se Ri Pak won the British Women's Open using it.

Very consistant ball. Good feel around the green, putts very well, seems to have low spin off of the tee, but I can stop 6 iron shots on down, even on fairly firm greens. Haven't backed one up more than a foot, but it always stays within a foot of the divot with the mid and short irons as long as I hit it solid and the greens aren't rock hard. Doesn't have a lot of bite on chip shots, but it is very predictable. Also can't beat the price, less than $30 for 2 dozen

These balls were very interesting in that when you gave it a good golf swing, you got good results. These balls have good spin and are long off the tee. The material scratches though, but the ball feels to solid and soft to even matter. Also, they are cheap all of a sudden. Buy them! i shaved 6 strokes.

This is one fine ball put out by Wilson. It is very long off the driver and very nice for chipping and putting. Accuracy was first rate and feel was first rate for a distance ball. It definetly outperformed many higher priced balls especially in the distance category and spin was moderately good. Overall, the ball is very workable and does what the manufacture advertises them to do. This ball can be used by all, but more so for those looking at game improvement. I Picked these up at TGW online because they were selling them at 2 for 1. Great ball and one that I would not hesitate to use again. Good Job Wilson.

I tried this ball yesterday after having played a few rounds where my drive seemed to have left me. Problem solved, my drives were 20 - 30 yds longer than some other balls I've been playing, namely the Top Flite XL Pure Distance. Shots were relatively straight and approach shots stopped within 3 - 4 feet of where they landed on the green. I'll try these against the Smart-Core Straight Distance and see how they match.

Though 8 bucks a sleeve was ridiculous, I bought a sleeve anyway because I love the play of these balls. They are decent off the tee and average with long irons but I really loved them up close. I was near perfect with anything within 100 yards. This ball is good for someone working on their game and trying to be improve pitching and putting.

Buy one dozen get one dozen free at GolfSmith! This is an awesome ball at a great value. I buy 2 dozen eveytime I go to GolfSmith just so I will have them for years to come. Great distance, great feel and putts true! I played Strata Pro 90 before this - great ball but too soft for me. The SmartCore Pro Distance is the best ball available in my opinion.

A sleeve came free with Wilson Staff Ti, so gave them a try and like them more than my other favorite ball the Staff Ti Spin. Actually I played 8 holes with this ball before I realized it was the Professional Distance and not Staff Ti. Ball plays straight, not much spin but stops well and checks up well on chips. It also putts well... Wilson doesn't get much credit but they make great balls that often go overlooked. I found my new favorite ball by mistake. Nevertheless I'll continue to use Wilson balls... unheralded but yet solid golfballs.

Best ball I've ever played. It is long, long, long and feels great. I'm angry this ball is being discontinued because this is the second time Wilson has done this. Years ago they made a version of the Ultra that I loved. Long. Felt great. Then they "improved" it and I switched to Pinnacle. Now they make me fall in love with this one and then kill it. If they can't successfully market a ball this good, maybe they should get out of the ball business entirely. I'll give the iWound a fair trial, but if it doesn't perform as well as the Smart-Core, no more Wilson balls for me. It does no good to find a great ball if the company who makes it won't keep it around.
