I got 2 sleeves of these free and I was really looking forward to hitting them. I got the chance yesterday morning, and I was disappointed. I love the Smart Core Pro Distance and I've had good results with the Straight Distance as well, but these fell far short of the other 2 models. I lost distance off my woods and irons, and spin is a relative word... they do hold the greens better than the old Top Flites and other "rock" distance balls, but don't expect them to check up like a Pro V1 or an A-10. I lost one of them, and the other 5 are going into the shag bag. Overall, I wouldn't recommend these balls. The price is good, though at $1 per ball in most stores. Not to be totally negative... if you're looking for an inexpensive quality ball that is moderate in spin, distance, and feel, then this may fill your needs. It's a middle of the road/compromise ball, that does everything ok but nothing great.

This is my current ball of choice, I am getting good distance from both my woods and my irons, also I am not experiencing too much left to right spin as I have on many previous "spin" balls. I can also get them to stop reasonably quickly on the green, and for me they have a good "feel" when putting.

I am a 14 year old 14.7 handicap and i play for my h/s team... I used this the first time yesterday @ Teal Bend, a tough course, and shot my lowest score there.. an 83. It has good distance and feel off of woods and putters

Great Ball. I average around 82 and this is my favourite ball. All my best rounds are with Smart Cores including a 73 in the first round of a tournament. Reacts especially well with Fat Shaft Irons which I have.

Well, I was playing Pinnacle Gold LS... Yeh, I know "rocks", but as my game got better, I looked for a "better feel" ball.
What I got, was a ball with solid feel off the tee, thaqt when you "spanked" it... you knew it!! And yet I also had better control of my approach shots, playing on normally hard greens. Although it doesn't have the spin of "spin/balata" balls, it will hold a green without having to play 3 balls a round! It putts true, drives "decent" and is definitely a step "up" for those of us who's game needed a ball to compliment personal improvements.

I really struggled to keep the ball straight off the tee with these - good around the green but overall not impressed.

Have played Wilson Staff Progressive irons now for eight years. Tried the Wilson Smart Core Spin Distance ball. Distance was bad, lost about a half clubon all irons and about 10 yards on the driver. Spin was also not that great. For a few dollars more try the Top Flite Strata Tour Pro.

Exactly what I had hoped for. Played with Nike balls and 99% of the time out hit the Nike ball by 5 to 10 yards and stuck on our hard greens here in KY.

Compared to other "spin" balls, this one doesn't have much. Ultra Tour Balata, Precept EV Extra Spin and Strata Balata balls have much more spin and feel than these.

Distance wasn't all that compared to the others either.

The ball is ok - just doesn't perform as you would expect.

I have been looking for the right ball and I found it. This ball is long off the tee and you can spin it on approach shots to the green.
