The last Bite Shoes I bought were lemons. And the company Refused to exchange them. I have run 29 Marathons but have never had blisters like I had after a round of 18 with them.

I got the Journeys after buying and loving the Bite OS Sandals. The shoes are good for the price, but not nearly as good as thier sandals. Good overall design, wide toe box but very little padding or arch support. I suggest you buy a half size larger than normal and but in your insert of choice.

Customer Service

Great telephone support.

Have these for one year and it's still water-proof and comfy. Very nice shoes considering I usually walk the course.

Model Reviewed: Elevation Series

Note: I am reviewing the Elevation Series, there is not a category for these shoes yet. I have owned these shoes for one day and I absolutley love them! I bought the Saddlebacks. Traditional look, with a bit of alternative style. I played with them last night and got two compliments!! One from the pro! They are very comfortable. I will post more feedback after a few months, but I think these shoes will please me for a long time. Follow this link to see this line of shoes http://www.biteshoes.com/2002/golf/series/elev.htm

I purchased these shoes because I liked the look. I'd never heard of Bite! They are brilliant. I usually wear Footjoy or Nike here in the hot tropics and am, in general, sick of the look they keep coming up with let alone the tired feet each night. Not only are these shoes extremely comfortable, they look great, are built well and have some fantastically appealing features for a golfer that lives in a part of the world that is extremely hard on shoes!! I like them so much I'm trying my hardest to get some more pairs (sandals too) sent to me here in Oz.

Customer Service

Spoke to Kim Kearsely at Bite - she helped me decide what I needed as far as size was concerned and has made contact via email to chase up a local distributor. Super support!

I have been wearing bite shoes for 4 years. Footjoy has a new model that looks like bites. So I thought I would give them a shot. Big mistake, after playing just 3 holes I had to put my old bites back on. I will never disrespect my feet again. Long live bite-mania!!!!

These are the most comfortable shoes that I''ve ever worn. I was able to play a round without getting a blister the first time I used them...and that''s unheard of for me. I''ve used Nike, Foot Joys, Etonics and none compared to these in comfort and support.

I love these shoes. When I tried on the saddlebacks at the store I didn''t bother trying out any of the other manufacturers. These shoes do not even need to be broken in. They are waterproof and very comfortable. I especially like the fact that they are wide at the toes and actually stretch to match the width of your foot. The only reason I will not give them a perfect score is because just after two rounds the stitching at the side started to unravel. Maybe it was just this pair, who knows?

BUY THESE SHOES!!! I'm a walker who carrys and these are the first shoes (including sport style reeboks and nike) that are comfortable even AFTER 36 holes. Every claim Bite makes is true. This is a great traditional looking shoe. AND ITS MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE THAN FOOTJOY. 45 day comfort guarantee, too.
