Walter Hagen Tour Stop Shoes

Walter Hagen Tour Stop Shoes

DESCRIPTION

This is my first golf shoe with spikes. I have had a pair of Nordstroms spikeless for a couple of years and they are very comfortable, but lack traction in wet conditions. So, my quest began. I went to Golf Galaxy and tried the Reelfit by Footjoy, but the $200 price scared me off. Then after I saved the money up, I read a review and discovered a couple negetive reviews which said the mechanism which provided the custom fit failed during a swing. So I then tried callaway Tour Saddle which has an orthodic which enables you to increase the width of the shoes. So, I ordered the shoes from golf shoes only.com and when I received them, I was dissappointed to see they sent the wrong size an 11 instead of the 12 which I ordered. Since GolfShoesonly doesn't stock Callaway Tour Saddle they were shipped directly from Callaway. And naturally Callaway was out of 12's in the color I wanted. So, I returned the shoes and waited for my refund. While waiting for my refund I made my first visit to Dick's Sporting Goods. I saw these Walter Hagen Shoes which I had never heard of and the sales lady said they made golf products exclusively for Dick's. They are the most comfortable golf shoes I have tried on yet and on the course they were wonderful. My feet felt great throughout the entire round. The traction actually improved my ball striking even in dry conditions. They have full grain leather uppers, Gore-Tex waterproof membrane system (lifetime waterproof guarantee), GyreTrac Fast Twist Spikes and they were on sale for 79.99. I've since heard that since Dick's brought out Walter Hagen that the quality of Hagen products has suffered, however I'm quite pleased with these shoes.
