Additional Info:
I wish I owned this golf course because it has tons of potential. First off I would change the par on holes 5 and 16. Both are too easy as par 5's but would make challenging par 4's. Then on hole 8, a long difficult par 4 of about 450 yards to an undulated green, I would move the tee back about 70 yards since they have the room and have back to back par 5's with hole 9. Now the course would have two decent par 5's and the par would be a challenging 70 instead of an easy 71 which it is now. Hole 6 is a nice par 3 of about 175 yards from back tees over the lake. Right behind the tee is a small cliff that could easily be cleared for a new tee making a very scenic par 3 of about 195 yards to a very big green. Holes 4, 7 and 17 are very short par 4's that are driveable under right conditions. Hole 17 only plays about 245 yards realistically. However, the green is very small and OB is very close to right side of fairway and the pond is just over the green. Nice hole to gamble on with a driver or play safe with a utility club off tee. Hardest hole may be #15. Even if you bang out a nice 285 yard drive just short of the creek that cuts thru the fairway you are left with a severely uphill second shot of about 135 yards. The green slopes from back to front. Long is OB and left and right are dead. Either hit this green or hit it in the bunker just short of the green but don't skull your sand shot over the green because you will be rehitting that shot again. All four par 5's are quite easy. For a long hitter both holes 5 and 16 are driver and then wedge for an eagle putt. Hole 12 is a par 5 shaped like the letter "L". Tees are usually to far right to go over trees. You must hit a 5 or 6-iron out past the treeline and then you will be face with a 2nd shot of about 225 yards which plays shorter. Easy birdie hole. Hole 9 is a par 5 of around 550 yards. It's usually downwind and there is no trouble anywhere. Swing as hard as you want because you are in the middle of the course with no OB anywhere and hardly any trees to speak of. If you're in the go range for your second shot play it shorter. Balls tend to roll over green or bounce hard and catch the creek behind it. Hole 18 is a challenging par 3 over another pond. Plays about 215 from back tees to a severely sloped green back to front. Long is dead. Right or left will catch the creek unless you get lucky enough to find a bunker. Their is plenty of room to miss short. A small fairway in front of the green will catch fat tee shots but hit it too fat and the pond will swallow it up. Hole 8 would be the 2nd hardest par 4 of about 440 yards to an uphill green with alot of slope. Must keep drive down left side to make it play much shorter however a group of trees must be dealt with. Play safely to the right and you leave yourself a much longer 2nd shot. Greens are well maintained but slow. Severe undulations would really slow play if they cut them lower. A nice grass driving range 4 blocks down the road.
