| | Reviewed by: Edmonds, Shoots in the 90s, from Allegheny Township Summary: I caddied at the course in high school and what can I say but its amazing. If you have the opportunity play it, TAKE IT! The challenge alone is enough to draw the U.S. Open to its grounds in 1994. Lately, they have taken some trees off the course to make it more open and more of a Links style, increasing playability. Par 5's are monstrous and just dare you to hit it long and straight. Greens are quick and difficult. Being a former caddie, I can say we do help the game alot. Tournaments here are a great time as well as a huge event. Staff is top-notch. Food is great at all facilities. The driving range is a huge advantage and nice location. And lastly but certainly not least, the Greenskeepers at this course are amazing. Never before do this great group of people keep a course so nice day-in and day-out. Customer Service: Top Notch Similar Courses Played: Caddies-great advantage.

| | Reviewed by: Michael Bonafair, Shoot in the 80s, from York Haven, PA USA Summary: What can you say. If there is any golfer out there that has played a part of history and didn't have his/her knees shake just at being on the practice green, they belong in a bowling alley.
The course is top notch, and maintenance is defined here as the standard. The greens - awesome. (I dropped my ball on the practice green and it rolled about 20 feet.) The caddies were great, though you need to rely on your own game. (TIP- play one extra club and the ball forward in your stance out the fairway traps - you will need this bit of knowledge - trust me.)

| | Reviewed by: Dan Reuter, Shoot in the 80s, from Pittsburgh, PA Summary: This is one of the premiere courses in the world. The current condition of the course is A-1. Great manacuring of fairways, traps, even the sprinkler heads. You better keep your ball in the fairway, because if the 160+ bunkers don't get you, the rough will! The greens are in U.S. Open condition. They putt true, but you better watch the speed. (Usually 11.5+ on the stimp meter.) The club's staff is unsurpassed, and the caddy corps will save you 5 strokes a side. Customer Service: Customer service is excellent. Bob Ford and his staff will do their best to make you feel welcome. Similar Courses Played: * great merchandise in the pro shop * practice facilities are A-1 * teaching pros led by Don Sergeant are excellent
