Picked up this club on the advice of my instructor. He wanted me to get a 7/8 degree with a firm flex and I ended up getting a 9 degree. Since picking up the club, I have been able to shave ten strokes off my total. Club is very forgiving and I'm now able to hit nice boring drives with good roll. Went from being happy with 220-230 off the tee to consistent 250-260. The deep face really helps, my previous Ti Bubble2 was all wrong for me.

I have an 8* graphite driver which I have owned for about 9 months played every few weeks. It can be long but often I find that the drives balloon in flight. I haven't been able to create a long boring flight with roll in the fairway as I have with the previous drivers I have owned. I feel that I am giving up some yardage as a result of the high flight checking in the fairway when it lands. The club does forgive some off-center shots but not all. This is a nice club, but I'm looking for a different driver to gain the desired flight path.

8 degree / firm flex - ideal for my slight fade. Low penetrating flight ideal in windy conditions. Recently tried a Wilson Deep Red which felt like hitting with a piece of 4" by 2". Handicaps down to 6 and falling and this club together with new fatshafts are eating my local course. Drive and a wedge is over 50% of the holes now!
It will take a special club to move me away from it now.

Customer Service

Local pro has shares in Wilson and I am sure he would sell me a Deep Red regardless of whether it offers an improvement.

I have played this club for 6 months now, and I LOVE IT! I play the 8 degree, and get plenty of carry without much baloon effect. Not as easy to work the ball, but who cares as long as it goes straight

Customer Service
