LONG, STRAIGHT, AND CONSISTENT. WITH THESE QUALITIES I DON'T CARE WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE. AND TO BE HONEST, I KIND OF LIKE THE SOUND. THE FEEL REMINDS ME OF A POWERBILT PERSIMMON I HAD YEARS AGO. THIS IS A REALLY GOOD DRIVER THAT CAN BE HAD FOR $300 TO 400 LESS THAN THE FUSION.

Took a bit of getting used to, especially with the sound of the ball off the face. Certainly improved number of fairways hit in regulation. Occasionally surprises with length off the tee, competing with Taylor Made 580, and latest Pings. Working of the ball is certainly easier than any of my other drivers. Very nice club

i first used this driver when it first came out about over a year ago. i loved it then. for some stupid reason i sold it and bought something else. since i am an equipment junkie i hit the c4 again recently. wow! better than the first time around. stock stiff shaft and 9*loft im 9 out of 10 times in the fairway and over 260 with a very easy swing. ive hit long bombs of over 300 with this so i dont understand some of the reviewers. for me this is the longest driver i have ever hit; and i have hit them all! sure it doesnt sound as pretty as the "ting" of a titanium driver but who cares when u r in the short grass and left with a short iron into the green. ive even tested out the new callaway fusion and it cant compare! and they want 500 for it!

Very easy club to hit. Not as long or as sweet sounding as the GBB II but for the price differential you can't beat the value. It's a very forgiving club and has improved my game immensely as my drives are longer and more consistent. Had my first eagle on a par 5 (Dec-03) as I hit driver (290m)& 5 iron (made the putt)

This is a very good club for beginers and golfers seeking easy distance. You can swing hard and still have the forgiveness of an 80% swing speed. The driver is kinda annoying in the noise at impact, but you will get used to it. My driver seems to have lost power after a year of extensive play. It looks very good at address, I can play draws and fades with simplicity. Overall, this is a good driver for the all around player.

Have used a Nike clone for the past 18 months, but was finding it was not suiting my swing, as I have 2 compressed disks in my back. Had tried the C4 abpout 18 months ago, but the price was probibitive in Australia, due to the poor Dollar rate. Found this in the 2nd hand area of shop at a good price, and in excellent condition. I only have to use a smooth swing with less speed to obtain good results, have averaged 230 metres and about 80% fairways since purchace, and my back feels less tired since using it. Can recommend the use of this club to the smooth swingers with a driver clubhead speed of ~95 mph.

If you are looking for a club that is going to give you extra control and allow you to hit more fairways this is your club. In my opinion the drawbacks are: Its sound will not give you confidence off the tee. It does not hit the ball a very long way you will struggle to hit it 280 yds so par 4's are not really reachable.

After using this driver for several rounds, I can say this is a very long and consistant driver. I hit an average of 60% of fairways and average distance is about 270 yards. I hit the green on an uphill 280 yard par 4 recently. Who cares what it sounds like. The results speak for themselves. This is one of the best drivers Callaway has produced and I hope more golf companys take advantage of these new materials other than titanium like Callaway did. The composite material seems to be superior to titanium as I am getting results that I have never had before with steel and titanium drivers.

I have been searching for a driver that would give me some consistency off the tee for some time and I am relieved to say my search is at an end! I bought the C4 on its reputation for forgiveness. I have suffered from what some would say was a power fade. I can honestly say without doubt that I am hitting the ball straighter than ever before and attribute this in part to the C4. I make no claims about distance other than say that I am hitting the ball further because I am hitting it straighter. I have noticed that some people complain about the sound of the noise of the ball coming off the club face but personally it doesn't bother me when I see the results!

I was able to demo this driver over two rounds, and two buckets of balls and found it has some highs and one low. It is easy to hit, and pretty easy to hit straight, and it had descent distance. The bad quality that i found with this driver was that it was perhaps one of the worst feeling clubs i have ever hit, and to me feel is an important quality in a good golf club. It simply felt like an old wooden club, and that is probly why the other big name club companies have yet to produce a carbon composite driver. In all i found it to be a pretty good club.
