Callaway c4 Driver
This has to be the worst driver Callaway has put out. Like most Callaway drivers it is fairly forgiving on mis hits on the toe or heel. My problem with the culb was the feel and distance. In both catagories the club was dead. The feel of this club is horrible. If your looking for a good Callaway driver look at the HawkEye or the ERC II the GBBII is not nearly as good as these two Drivers. C4 Driver
This driver really helped my game. I've been lucky if I knock it two hundred yards but now with this driver I consistently hit it two hundred yards if not always straight. I've been playing about twenty years and don't really expect to get better and I know I can't get any worse. I'm about as bad as you'll see. callway c4 firm 9*
i just got this club and, at first i was a little surprised at the sound, "crack" instead of the normal big bertha, "ping" but the ball really explodes off the clubface. at first i was swing too hard and hitting a big fade, now i take a nice easy swing and hit it straight 280 -300 so i like especiall since i got it for 100 bux. definitely reccomend this club for anyone who wants to hit longer straighter drives, for that matter any callway driver u buy will be longer and straighter. c4 callaway driver
Thiis the the best driver that ccallaway has ever made. The first day that i had it i took it to the driving range and hit 40 balls 26 of the balls went over 300 yards compared to my usual 250 275. Just those 50 to 25 yards helped me shoot from the high 70s to the low 70s. |

callaway c4 with firm shaft
i got the driver yesterday and took it out on the course for the first time today, first time hitting it, and i'm suprised how well i did with it. i hit more fairways and only had one poor drive the whole day as apposed to my previous driver. it feels great to hit with and is easy to hit consistently. i liked it a lot, people say the sound is wierd, but i hardly noticed, they also say that there was a loss in distance. there was a slight loss in distance for me, maybe five yards, but i also hammered a few a little over 280, so i figure if i use it more i can make up the distance. overall this club is quite good. i like it a lot, the fact that it looks cool is an added bonus. i shot the best i ever have at my local country club with it and it was the first time i used it, i maybe took 10 or so shots with it at the practice befor i went out, great club especially for the price Similar Products Used: callaway great big birtha |

Callaway C-4, 9*,firm graphite
Over the last several years I have tried alot of drivers and can say this one has been the easiest to hit consistently.Slightly open stance, semi strong grip, 80% swing = 300 yards with a slight fade.I like the feel and sound, it's actually kinda non-existent so there is not much to think about. I'll get a Ping ISI 8.5 RUD,w/a firm stock graphite shaft to put in the bag also, then I'll be set for a looong time. Customer Service Not needed. Callaway C4
I received the Callaway C4 driver free as a door prize in a charity tournament, so who could complain? I played with it for about a year and recently started to hit it really well. Cranked a couple out to about 295 in a recent tournament, but probably average about 270 with decent accuracy. Sometimes double crosses me with a big banana slice. Loaned it to a playing partner a few days ago and he hit it so well I had to sell it to him. Got $100 toward my next driver - thinking I might switch to a Cleveland Launcher 400. I have had this driver for 6 weeks. Paid £159 in the UK.Originally bought the club with the stiff graphite shaft fitted but found I couldn't hit it off the tee - everything duck-hooked 30 yards. Took it back and exchanged for the regular shaft with the same 10 degree loft. It's taken a while but it's made a huge difference to my game. I now have the confidence to step up to the tee and crack it 270 with minimal effort. What I have found is that you have to be very relaxed with soft hands (like when chipping)to get the desired, consistent results. At first I tried to crush everything but this simply does not work with this club. What this means is that you can be confident of consistently hiiting 270 but 300 may be out of reach for this driver in the average golfers hands (I play off 15). Sets up nicely behind the ball. Looks cool but sounds strange. It produces a dull thud on impact. Customer Service Not needed yet Similar Products Used: Wilson Fat Shaft. ERC II |

I am 14, and got tired of hitting a 3 wood off the tee 180 yards. So i went shopping around for a good driver. My dad did research and told me that the C4 is the way to go. I wasnt too sure. I demod it into one of those gay net things that stop the ball like, 5 feet in front of you, but was hitting it really straight. So i bought it, and took it to the course. I LOVE THE SOUND. its awesome. I also sliced the hell outta the ball using the C4, but after i reviewed my fundamentals, choked down on the club(due to the extremely long shaft i somehow got stuck with)and swung softer i was smackin the ball 250 down the fairway. DO NOT SWING HARD WITH THIS CLUB, BAD THINGS HAPPEN, **SLICING, HOOKING**...nice, at ease swing does wonders, trust me...im looking forward to hitting it again, Customer Service have no clue, havent used it Similar Products Used: NIKE Ti 10.5*...and thats it |

Callaway C4
The most consistent driver I have ever hit. The club is a steal for less than $200.00. I tried every driver out there --- Cleveland 400 Launcher, Titliest J and 983K, Mizuno Blue Rage, and Taylor Made 360. The C4 is shortest among all clubs when hit on the sweet spot, but the C4 is the longest driver when calculating my average drives per round. Golf is so much fun for me when I'm on the middle of the fairway. |
