This is a great club. I have never been a lover of woods or drivers and never really been able to hit them long or straight! I have just bought custom mage irons and decided I should nite the bullet and buy one of these based on the reviews on this site. I now have so much confidence with this driver that I do not hesitate to pull it out of the bag and use it. My swing speed is not fast (80mph), but I find teeing the ball high, a nice easy swing and sweep it off the tee works a treat for me. I am now hitting the ball 250 yds dead straight every time I use the club. I am sure with more use my distance will slowly creep up to 275 yds. Believe me, when you put the club behind the ball at address you look down and think "I cant miss", and after a few swings with it and you have got used to it, you wont miss. I struggled with it to start with, then I moved my hands down the grip about 1" and bingo. I used it this weekend just gone on 14 holes and hit the fairway 14 times. What a great club. I wish Callaway would make fairway woods to match!

I could not believe this club. I have been playing a 9* VFT and loved it. I had some extra cash so I bought a C4 from CPO. I am hitting as far and much straighter. The 'noise' is not a big deal and the look is not bad. The result of a great drive or a 220 yd miss hit is worth much more...

This club is absolutely wonderful.I was very reluctant to buy because of the bad wrap the club has recieved. I played the Titleist 975J VS until I swung the C4. My tempo improved 10 folds and the tension in my swing was gone. Its like were have you been all my life. Maybe its just me but the C4 actually improved my swing mechanics and the thought process. Swing smooth with a nice transition on the down and your all set, do not muscle the club.

This driver is the best ever created. I used to have to crush the ball to get it to go. Now I just have to take a nice easy swing to get it the same distance. I have also noticed that I am in the fairways more than ever. Even for good golfers this club is for you. There was only one problem. The first day I had it I somehow broke the head right off the shaft during contact with the ball. But the very next day I went to the place I bought it and got a new one. There was no hassile at all. I jsut walked in and they had a new club waiting for me.

With a smooth tempo, this driver is very forgiving and hits the ball long. It produces a fast boring trajectory that rolls and rolls. In my last three rounds of golf, I've had four 300+ yard drives. Normally I use a Callaway Steelhead Plus driver. The C4 easily out distances the Steelhead Plus by 20+ yards. I love the sound of the driver. It makes a crack, similar to a persimmon driver. The driver is very light and long 45.5", thus a smooth easy tempo is critical. Otherwise, you will swing poorly, then blame the driver. People that say this driver does not go as far as a Ti driver, are mistaken. I have a custom Ti driver that I use from time to time and the C4 easily out distances this driver and has a better trajectory. Bottom line...best buy on a driver right now. Hurry...cause they are about gone!

I purchased this club after hitting just about everyhting in the store. I have played a Callaway Hawkeye for two years and really struggled last year with a new shaft that never felt right. This club is great. For most of my life I have enjoyed being able to rip a drive with the best long hitters, but my score has stayed the same for the same amount of time. This driver is very easy to control and I thought because of other reviews and the fact that it was so inexpensive that I would sacrifice some distance. Not true. I played my first round yesterday and eagled a 315 yard par 4. I still don't feel like I can get into this club like others as over swinging seems to do nothing. I had 3 poor drives and shot an 86 with a 6 and an 8 on a par 3 and par 4. The par 4 was the only hole that I really struggled with this club on as I launched back to back pull hooks. I am really looking forward to this season with this club as it seems to make it much easier for me to stay in the fairway. While not as glitzy and glamorous as some of the other $300 plus drivers out there this thing is by far a great value and I'd reccomend to anyone looking to improve their fairway percentages!!!!!!!

Having read a number of reviews on this site I have to wonder how many of the reviewers hit this club more than once. The sound grows on you, the feedback is decent, but that should come from one's own swing and the launch angle, not the sound or "feel" of impact. As for the club being too light...if you purchase the club with the right shaft, you'll be able to increase clubhead speed without changing the swingweight. I am someone who has always been able to hit the ball a long way, but not with any control. As long as the swingweight it correct, there will be no such thing as "the club getting lost in your swing" and you'll hit it just as far if not further, and this head is very forgiving. Hit it enough times, and you can't help but enjoy this club. This club has also gone from being priced around $500 down to under $150 on Ebay (with Callaway being the true seller), it's tough to go wrong on this value.

Appreciate all those reviews in this column. Bought this driver coz of this site and have never been so thankful. Played my game using C4 today and only missed the fairway once. I played 95 instead of the usual 97/99 score coz of the C4. Drives are true and straight. I used to hook a lot and miss fairways 2 out of 5 times. This driver is so light that I can control my swing perfectly. I will encourage those with slow swing speed to use it. I never loss any distance as opposed to those reviews posted here. Sound didn't matter once I see the ball sail away. I preferred Titleist 975D over Callaway's Great Big Bertha Hawkeye and ERC in the old days but the C4 is the best driver I've had so far. Its real value for money too as prices have come down sharply. I'm only worried about clubhead peeling and club breakage as witnessed by other reviews posted here.

Customer Service

Pan West dont offer warranty on my new C4 as they claim that C4 is an offer item now(Unlike in US). Singapore Callaway's customer service is so different compared to US's. US customers are so lucky. You can never get a replacement Callaway driver in Singapore unless you can get forensic evidence to show that you did not break the club out of negligence.

Absolutely the best driver I have ever hit. It helped to correct my slice, which had gotton out of control. Now I am consistently hitting the ball between 280-310 yards and straight. This is a tremendous help as it allows me to concentrate on my pathetic short game. I got one for my father and now he is hitting longer and more consistently than ever. His friends were so impressed that they each went out and got one.

Customer Service

I haven't used it yet, but I hear good things about it.

I love this Driver.... The best Driver I've ever hit. I have a bad slice, but not anymore. The most acurate club in my bag. Before I bought this club my score was higher because I was always in trouble off the tee, but now I have other thing to worry about. The sound dont bother me at all. I pick up alround 10 extra yards at the time. I bought It because of the price. Boy, I proud I did. Good luck.
