Excellent club. The first driver I have been able to hit with any semblance of consistency. Instills confidence at address, rewards well struck ball with an authoratative CRACK sound. Would not give mine up. Found it on Ebay for a pretty good price

Customer Service

Excellent, I broke the shaft on my BB 3 wood, Callaway replaced the shaft at no charge/no questions asked

Big head and sweet spot gives me confidence (used the original Big Bertha before this with a smaller head). Nice to hit, farther and straighter than my old BB. Tinny sound at impact, but I'm more used to it now. I don't slice/fade it as much as before, can even hook/draw it sometimes. Can't control the trajectory though. Sometimes it balloons, sometimes it has a piercing trajectory. Would like to have more of the latter than the former. But I am in the fairway more often than before. I have to balance this review by saying that I haven't tried clubs like the Titleist 975D, the Ping, the Taylore Made SuperSteel, the regular Hawkeye, or the Hawkeye VFT. Those may be better clubs than this one, but this one is a big improvement over my old BB.

I picked this club up at the begining of the summer and for some reason I could not hit it. Then after about a month something snapped and I started bombing drives. Now I am consistently hitting it 260 yards and straight which is a 30-40 yard improvement over my big bertha.

Whoever says that the stock shaft in the Pro series Hawkeye is not a good shaft is probably just saying that because it is popular to say. This club is just perfect. All you need is a nice easy swing and WOW!!! just watch the ball jump off the club face. This club is long, very long, and just as accurate. You do not have to muscle this club to get the maximum distance. Just swing easy and watch your playing partners cry like babies.

When i fist got this club i hit great with it. I am 14 and on my best drives hit 260. The fist one broke in 2 weeks and the next one broke in 3. This was very strange and disturbing and at the same time funny. I called Callaway and they are now going to send my the vft, not a bad deal all in all. Be careful buying this club the same might happen to you,you might like this though.

I ran into this club while at Dicks. Apparently they were closing out the stock from their online store and this club was priced at $179. I am seeing them all over the web at about $199 now. Pretty good deal for the better golfer.

I hit this club four times at local driving ranges, each time seeing an improvement. While it delivers some cannon shots when hit well, other hits hook and slice a bit, but not horribly. I was at the point where I was going to play a round with it (with my trusty GBB along for the ride, just in case) when I demoed a Wilson Deep Red. Good distance, killer accuracy. The Wilson is my new driver. The GBB will always have a place in my trunk, if not in my bag as a go to club.

At this price, 5 stars for value, 4 stars overall performance. I liked the grips so much I regripped my supersteel irons with winns.

I have a friend that kills the Hawkeye, so he might buy it.

Model Reviewed: Hawkeye Pro Series Driver 9.5 stiff

My wife bought this Pro series Hawkeye Driver 9.5 degree stiff for my birthday and it has been nothing but a pleasant suprise.. This driver is very very Long of the tees, and straight as an arrow. So easy to it, I can not see myself
going back to my Titleist 975D 9.5 degree EI-70 stiff driver. I used to have Biggest Big Bertha and like it alot because it was very long, but had to sacrifice accuracy, and decided to try a regular hawkeye with tungston on the heel--what a mistake, this was a Hook-eye club. However, the Pro Series Hawkeye Driver is another Animal. No hooks or slice, Just STRAIGHT and LONG........... This is the driver to get. At $199, its a Steal
