Cleveland HiBORE Drivers

Cleveland HiBORE Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Through the history of persimmon woods, drivers have always been round. As time progressed and technology advanced, they've grown bigger and are now made of a variety of metals, but for the most part, they've maintained the round shape. Up until now, form has dictated function... The HiBORE™ Driver has changed all that. For the first time, function is dictating form. HiBORE is truly the new shape of distance. The HiBORE is the ultimate high-launch / low-spin driver. Because of its unique crown geometry, the location of the Center of Gravity (CG)* is lower and deeper than ever before. Consequently, it produces drives that go farther and straighter from a larger portion of the clubface than any other driver in existence.

I don't think that God is a golf club but you might say that the club is touched by a higher power. The TI Comp Launcher was my driver the club is long, produces a boring trajectory forgiving and reasonably hot in the heel my standard miss) I believe the TI Launcher is the best standard geometry driver on the market for slightly step swingers(I am a very good iron player. My club head speed is 116 when I am swinging well and the TI Comp produces 260 of carry 275-280 total distance.

Now the HI-Bore. The club is simply superior to the TI Comp and all other current offerings period, however it is not perfect. Pros: 1. 540cc effective physics with the feel of a smaller club with a shallow face (at address and impact looks and feels like the old Taylormade 300;4. The club is absolutely launch monitor proven 15 yards longer than the TI COMP (275 carry/280-310 total distance) The club produces a high BORING trajectory-imagine your preferred trajectory shifted up 10 feet at the apex; the club is forgiving the heel is almost as hot as the sweet spot, you will hit more fairways at attack distance.

Cons: 1. The club looks like it has a slightly closed face- the club is perfectly square but it takes acclimation; 2. when you pick up the ball after impact it will be on a perfect line but higher in the sky than you are used to; The club is long and straight however it is a touch hard to work; 3 It is $100 more than the standard driver price point.

The verdict, this is truly a superior product offering. It achieves superior carry and total distance, it is forgiving over most of the face yet keeps the ball on the planet (no one wants a 300yard hard block)after some track time I think you will find it aesthetically pleasing.
Unfortunately you will need to retrain your eye as to what your best shoots look like. If you are playing a perfestly fine standard geometry driver you will switch to this club.

Customer Service

Friendly Knowledgable and helpful. At a demo day I had a former tour pro chat with me and demonstrate the diffrences and pros and cons between my Launcher and the Hi-Bore. Processed a fairly complex custom order in record time.

There is a golf GOD! It's called the HIBORE! This is the driver I have been seeking, but not finding till now. No bull I took 4 strokes off my normal game the First time I used it!!! The most forgiving driver I have ever seen. My golf buddies call it the "cheating" club. THe distance is about the same as my old cobra, but I hit it down the center about 90% of the time. Buy this driver and quit your search, this is it..

This is the best driver I have ever played and I have played them all. Not sure how much is the CV2 shaft but it is straight and long. Last 6 rounds I have hit 80% of my fairways

This driver is not for everyone. I heard all the hype on this club so I had to try it out. This driver was shorter and inconsistent compared to my 440sz Driver. I was disappointed.

Awesome club. Extremely straight and long. Would highly recommend this club to high handicappers or anyone looking for extra distance and accuracy. I can't believe this is from a company specialized in wedges. They now dominate every aspects of this game (wedges, irons, woods, and driver!) Keep up the good work Cleveland...

Purchased
9.5*,stiff graphite shaft (standard)

I jumped in the market and bought this driver,I play with all Cleveland golf gear.
This is by far the best driver (for me) that I have ever used,it is forgiving and long. For those that look at a clubs cosmetics are short-sighted,if you are not going to try a club because the way it looks is crazy,it is all about feel and feedback from striking the ball.
All I will suggest to people out there is don`t knock this club until you have tried it.
In the last 18 months golf technology has gone through a big change with bigger cc heads, adjustable weights, changes in C.O.R,M.O.I...
and now with some new shapes,Nike SQ and the number 1 club on the market now,
CLEVELAND HI-BORE.
