Hi Bore Driver
After 4 years of playing my trusty driver, I thought it was time to look at the 460cc drivers. I flew to Hotstix golf fitters in Arizona, and spent 3 hourss with the fitters analzying my swing and testing various drivers. Ultimately I went with the HI BORE in a 9.5 degree, with a ACCRA 60 Series Shaft. During the testing all the tests showed I was driving the ball another 20-25 yards more. But, the real test came the next day at TPC: My drives were constantly 20 yards further; accuracy was at first a bit off, but; as I got into a more comfortable tempo and feeling with the club, the accuracy was exceptional.

HI Bore 9.5
completely over rated. the distance is okay and direction is okay. missed a couple of shots off the toe w/ huge loss in distance. i thought i hit a couple of drives on the screws and did not get the max yardage i normally get. i bought this one w/ the proforce v2 stiff, a good shaft, but i think the $399 price is too much. HiBore
I was a little hesitant to purchase the HiBore because I don't generally like 460cc size drivers and the new HiBore shape was a little strange to look at. I had always had good success with Cleveland, so I demoed a couple of the HiBores with different shafts. This driver is for real. It is long and it is straight. I researched reviews for the driver and ended up hitting it a few more times at the range to be certain - you know what it is like hitting something well on the range only to curse it on the course. Everytime I took a demo to the range or on the course I liked it better and better.
Customer Service I haven't had any need to use customer service with the driver, but I have used Cleveland's customer service on my CG1s and was treated very well. Similar Products Used: Titleist 905T with V2 shaft, TaylorMade R7 TP with stock Fujikura, Callaway Fusion FT-3 |

Cleveland Hi-Bore
What a great driver... I got a 9-degree/ stiff shaft...My mates stand and watch as i put it 30/40 yards past them, even the miss hits are not that bad. as it has a low spin rate its goes nearly as far into the wind. My previous driver was a Launcher 460, the hi-bore is easier to hit and longer. I highly recomend it Similar Products Used: Cleveland Launcher 460 |

Cleveland Hibore
This is the best driver I have ever hit. Mis-hits don't go too far off center and center hits are wicked long, and I don't have a nice swing. I just began taking lessons this year and I reccomend this club to anyone trying to find the fairway or having trouble with distance. Well worth the price even if you pay retail. Cleveland Hi-Bore
I had been using a Cleveland 460 Comp driver, but heard all the hype about the Hi-bore, so I bought one. I will agree that this is a very forgiving club on miss hits. Currently, I would not say it is a lot longer than my 460 Comp, but it definitely is easier to keep a drive in play. I have only had the Hi-bore for a month (4 rounds), so maybe once I get a few more rounds under my belt and comfortable w/ it, I will start hitting it farther than my old 460 comp. Only time will tell. It is the forgiveness of the driver that is awesome. Even my bad drives stay in play. The key to this driver is making sure you get the shaft that is suited for your game. This will make all the difference in the world in this club. Customer Service Cleveland customer service is excellent. Cleveland HIBORE Driver
Being a left handed golfer this club just became available after being released for righties months before. Having used a Cleveland Comp. over the past season I never thought anything could be better for distance as well as accuracy. I was wrong, this club is really very good. I found I needed to tee it a little lower than the Comp. because as advertised the sweet spot is in the center of the head as opposed to a little above the center. The stock shaft is very good and really supports an increase in swing speed. The distance for me was about 10 yards longer than the comp. and has a very straight ball flight pattern. If possible experiment with different degrees of loft and maybe different shafts if that is possible for you to do. GREAT club!!!!! Customer Service Called on two occasions and they were very helful. Cleveland HiBore 9.5, stock shaft stiff
Haven't put the HiBore in play on the course yet, but I've hit it on the range on two different occasions against my own Taylor Made 540XD and the new Taylor Made r7 460. While I can't say whether it's 5 yards shorter or longer than anything else, I can definitely say this club wants to hit the ball straight.

Cleveland High Bore 9.5 Stiff Shaft
This is the best driver I have ever hit. I had the opportunity to hit all of the new drivers at a golf demo a couple of weeks ago and I hit this club a good 20-50 yards longer than all of the major brands including, Taylor Made, Nike, Calaway, Adams and Ping. I have a very high swing speed (105-110 mph) so I need a club that has a stiff shaft and can convert that swing speed into distance. If you are in the market for a new driver I would highly recommend taking this one for a drive. One of the major complaints about this club is the way that it looks. But this is a golf club not a fashion show. It is just new technology that everyone is going to be using in a couple of years anyway so why not be the first one in your four-some to take advantage of it. Customer Service Purchased this club at Golf Galaxy and would recommend paying their $30 fee for a swing analysis before spending $400 on this driver. They make sure to select the best shaft for your swing. Similar Products Used: Adams Redline 460cc, Taylor Made Firesole |
