Cleveland HiBORE Drivers

Cleveland HiBORE Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Through the history of persimmon woods, drivers have always been round. As time progressed and technology advanced, they've grown bigger and are now made of a variety of metals, but for the most part, they've maintained the round shape. Up until now, form has dictated function... The HiBORE™ Driver has changed all that. For the first time, function is dictating form. HiBORE is truly the new shape of distance. The HiBORE is the ultimate high-launch / low-spin driver. Because of its unique crown geometry, the location of the Center of Gravity (CG)* is lower and deeper than ever before. Consequently, it produces drives that go farther and straighter from a larger portion of the clubface than any other driver in existence.

I've been golfing for a year and I just purchased a 2006 Cleveland Hibore (for my one year anniversary) after hitting my golf buddy's Hibore. Talk about hitting a ton. Don't get me wrong it works great, but it isn't the "magic stick" you would expect. If you had a wicked slice before this makes it a wicked fade.
The sweet spot on this driver is huge and it is a forgiving club. When you do hit one off the tee clean just stand back and watch it go. Great job over there at Cleveland.
I would recommend this club to anyone and if you want to be a better golfer take lessons and get fitted.

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Hi Bore 10.5 degree with Pro launch regular flex

Just purchased the Cleveland Hi Bore last week, went to the range twice with it, so I could get it dialed in.

I played my first round with it 2 days ago, what an amazing driver!! I usually shoot low to mid 80's and ended up shooting a 78 - first time I have ever broke into the 70's.

This driver is long and forgiving, averge drive for me was 290, with a few out 310 - 315 yds - which is rare for me.

Driver sets up so nice - gave a new added confidence - the harder I swung the straighter the ball seemed to fly - other drivers I have had previously, it was the complete opposite - the harder I swung the worse I would slice fade the ball.

I highly recommend this driver, to anyone that's wants to play from the short grass - plus you can't beat the price!!

this driver is awesome loft and shaft combo do everything right for me. hit some of my longest drivers ever.........average carry is between 265 - 275 with plently of roll after the ball hits the ground. not sure why most state closed face... mine seems to be open 1-2 degrees maybe the lower loft has a open face appeal...has made hitting driver a pleasure once again....

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Hibore Driver

I bought the Hibore because I broke my previous driver's clubface. I didnt care for it very much, so i decided to get new one. All i have to say is WOW. The harder I swung, The straighter it went. It does have a slightly closed clubface, but for someone with a slight slice on the ball sometimes like me, it will either straighten or make you draw your drives. I highly recommend this driver for golfers who either slice or want to put a pretty draw on the ball, but not for those who already draw or hook the ball, because it will just make it worse.

A very nice driver, put a grafalloy pro launch shaft in this baby and she has a nice feel going thru the ball, very consistant. It took a few rounds to get used to it but, I keep it in the short grass for the most part. What ever kind of driver you get, be sure to get fitted for the right shaft.

I got this driver 2 days ago, and It is amazing, 10.5 with the Alvida shaft regular flex.

by far the best driver i have ever hit, I have a horrible slice and now its completely gone, the face of this club presents a great launch angle and I recommend this to anyone who wants to play better golf and have fun doing it.

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Hibore 10.5 Proforce V2 regular

Just got this club today and spent about an hour on the range with it. It wont fix your swing, but as others say, its a great band aid. The harder I swung, the straighter the ball flew. Almost everything was straight down the middle. Play around with the ball height but definately keep the ball lower than you would for 460 cc. This club is not as far as my 2006 Cobra F Speed 10.5 Aldila regular flex, probably 15 yards shorter, but it took out my wicked side spin. I'll take shorter in the fairway over long and in the woods anyday. With my Cobra, the harder I swung, the more side spin I would get. It would start out straight as an arrow, then around 150-175 yds, take off to the right. Not with the Hibore. The closest I came to a slice resulted in a nice fade. Great deals available, picked it up shipped for $130 with the upgraded shaft. Tried the stock regular Fuji shaft at a store but it felt to soft. The Proforce V2 regular shaft feels firmer than stock and should balloon the ball as much.

I bought this driver for $130 without ever tying it out. I have the Aldila shaft on it with a regular flex. I had and old Orlimar driver before and was driving the ball about 240 yards on average. I took this driver out the day I bought it and had three or four 300+ yard drives. This driver definitely adds distance to your drives.

The first day i got the hibore i took it to the range and i absolutely loved it. The aldila shaft works very well atleast 8/10 shots were straight down the middle going atleast 225-250. Be sure to tee it low and let it go. Another guy had the same driver except the stock stiff shaft and boy does the shaft make a difference. Aldila is highly preffered. Great driver in all. Nice feel nice sound great for all players all around.
