Cleveland Hi-bore
I bought this driver, 2 days ago, and used it today for the first time. All i have to say is wow. This thing has some distance. I'm 16 years old and i only play like once or twice a month, and usually shoot around 110. i used to have a $50 wilson driver, and i would hit it about 220-240 yards. today using the hi-bore, i hit an about 260 per drive, and had one that i got a hold of that went 300. i also had barely any sidespin whatsoever, and i did not slice it one time. i shot a 95, which was the first time i had ever broken 100. i would definately recommend this. it looks amazing too. Cleveland Hibore, stiff 10.5
I was able to get my swing analyzed and was setup with this 10.5 stiff club for proper lauch angle and ball flight. I must tell you that it is much more fun playing golf from the fairways. This club will make you draw the ball slightly from left to right, so be conscious of any trees hangin too close to the left. I've been able to drop my score five strokes because of the forgiveness of miss hits with this club. It is as long as any other club and sounds like a firecracker when hit. A gentleman asked if he could hit with it today on the course and smacked it right down the middle of the fairway, where-as he had been pushing everything right throughout the day. May take others some time to get used to the looks but I love taking it out of the head case and setting it up at address. I know the confidence will be there from now on. Nicely done Cleveland. And being that its last years model they're goin for pennies compared to the $400+ drivers of the day. Similar Products Used: Mizuno MP-100, Titleist, Wilson |

Nike Pro Combo Forged Irons
These irons are sick. Personally I hit high lofted irons really well but lose distance as the loft decreases. Before these irons I wasnt even able to hit a 3 iron. The mixed set is genious because the 3 and 4 are so easy to hit compared to others and the 8,9,P have great feel and accuracy. Then you have the 5,6,7 which are more balanced(muscle backs). I like how there are 3 types of irons (cavity back, muscle back and blades) as opposed to most combo sets with simply cavity backs and blades. If your short game is good and you cant hit the long irons well these are probably for you, because your buying short irons that tiger plays with (the 8,9,P blades are the same that tigers uses, just with a little different design and upgraded shafts, and low irons that any beginner can get used to). Definetly reccommend trying them out. |

Cleveland Hi Bore Driver
I just bouoght this driver with an Adila NV65 stiff shaft and 10.5 degree head.I was a little nervous after reading all the things written about the face being closed but actually it set up great for me and inspired confidence. I went out back with no warm up or stretching and pounded some balls. No drive was unacceptable and the face on this club is hot with a medium bore trajectroy. The head cover is nice too.

Cleveland Hi Bore XL
IN the process of shopping for a new driver, I demo'd an XL at the course last week. It took me a few holes to get used to it, but on a short 354 yard par 4 I drove the ball pin-high on the fringe. I will definitely buy one. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made, PING |

I just started playing golf but was looking forward to play good. I never had problems with my irons, but with the driver, i had to concentrate real hard not to mess up the drive. but with this driver, even some miss hits are not that bad. i have played 5 round with this driver, and i am hitting fairways 70% of the time. also, this club is so easy to work with that i can draw/fade at will. great club!! i am so impressed with this driver, that i ordered whole set of irons from Cleveland. |

One year ago I talked to a friend of mine and he recommended the Adams Redline for extreme distance - I bought one and it is long - I play very few rounds a year due to my job - my game will not improve so I have to stay satisfied with the high 80's making some pro like shots 3-4 times during a round. I believe like every golfer you are always in search of the magical club that no matter how you swing the ball is long and straight - not happening - because there is no magic clubs without the practice rounds you need to be good! I do however look for a club now that will offer me the upmost forgiveness because I have swing flaws. I took my redline along with the callaway X460, cleveland comp, and the Hibore to the range a week ago. I hit 60 balls with all four drivers. The Hibore preformed great in my hands - I really couldn't tell what kinds of distance I was getting but it produced a slight draw for me.(Corn field at the back of range - 300 yards?) Two days ago I had a chance to sneak out onto the local golf course to a Par 5 with ten balls. The first 3 balls I hit with the driver produced the slight draw for me - 2 were dead straight - 5 were hooks but again I had to keep in mind secound time hitting the club and I could iron out the bad swings(maybe) - Wet fairway from rain and uphill all the way - Four of the balls were within 10 yards of each other at 295 yards - when people on the review page say it is a long club - believe them - as far as the hook shot - the face is closed at address - but again I like the draw that it produces for me - I just have to iron out the hook shot? I was probably not getting any roll from the shots - another pointer - for me that is - I better swing the club and take nothing off - the club seems to like that - This club is as long as any club I have had - the question however - can I improve the hook that I get - practice - as far as distance - with roll - 3+ - at my age who care how you arrive - let the big dog eat plus I'm not playing for money! Picked up the club new for 180.00 Similar Products Used: Ping,Callaway,Cobra,Adams,Titleist |

Cleveland Hibore XL 9.5R
For the last several years I hit a Callaway 2-wood off the tee because I never knew where my driver was going. Typically hit it 225-240, figuring the loss of distance was a decent trade-off for the control. This year, I decided to see if the new technology could work for me. I swung several clubs and decided on the Hibore. (I'm partial to Cleveland anyway). I would never have expected this much improvement. I am now hitting tee shots from 250-270 or longer. As long as I take a nice slow backswing (always an issue for me) the club works great. I'm hitting second shots from places I only used to wish I could hit from. I recently posted my personal best of 37 (2 over). I am truly amazed at how much difference this club had made with both my confidence and my game. Now if I can find a wedge and putter to match the driver. Anyway, I have been totally satisified with this club. For the $270 I paid for it, I don't think I could have done much better. PS it is a loud clubhead but not a big deal. |
