Bought this driver last summer after killing it at the range. Began to lose confidence in it after too many rounds of spray right, spray left. I looked up the club specs on Cobra's site and it turns out the stock shaft has a torque of 5.5. That explains the twisting feeling on toe hits. I reshafted with a UST proforce 65(r). WOW. Driver is now my favorite club. Make sure you order the oversized .350 tip shaft to properly fit in the cobra. With a decent shaft, this driver cannot be beat.

For the price you could not touch anything as good. It is very forgiveing. The ball really jumps off the face. I picked up a extra 10 yards with this driver. If you read this message go to Dicks and buy one because they are seling them for hafe price right now. You can't beat the price of this driver.

I've played this club for a half season now and love it. I've hit the Calloway Hawk Eye as well as the Taylor Made Ti-Bubble 2 clubs. With those clubs I found inconsistent flight and extreme slicing if miss hit. With the Gravity Back, I've found an incredibly consistent trajectory and great accuracy (I went from about 30 percent fairway to 65 to 70 now).

I chose this make of club after reading the reviews on this web site and I have not been disappointed. My previous driver was a Callaway steel head and I had a tendency to quick hook with it. So far this has not happened once with the Cobra and the ball flight and trajectory is near perfect. Seems very forgiving on slight off centre hits. I am not an equipment freak and have used the same set of irons for over 10 years, but I do tend to try out different drivers. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE BEST ONE I HAVE EVER HIT. It is also about half the price of the competition !

Tried the driver after I bought the 3 wood. I love the driver. More than any of the other clubs I tried, it helps me to slow down my tempo. I tend to try to grip and rip which leads to duck hooks. With the feel of this club, it makes me slow my tempo naturally. For me, the difference between this club and all the other drivers is night and day. I still need work on my swing, but at the end of 1 day at the range I was getting an adrenaline rush every 3 of 4 hits (and the other one was in play and over 200).

I had this club for only two weeks when the shaft broke. I returned it to the pro shop and got my money back. My swing speed is around 130 and I must say this should have never happend.

I have been playing consistently with my Hawkeye for a number of years but recently switched to the Cobra Gravity back after trying a friend's at Carnoustie. This club knocks spots off the Callaway. It feels a lot more balanced and it is more accurate. However, I have lost approximately ten yards in distance. But, a small price to pay for the accuracy gained! A club for all levels of golfer.
