Cobra Gravity Back 10.5* stiff
I'm a beginning golfer with a strong inclination to slice. On a good day, this driver leaves me disappointed because it just doesn't have the distance as compared to other drivers I've had. It hits very high and lands soft with little roll. On a bad day however, I can't thank Cobra enough for this driver because it will keep me down the middle when nothing else will. It is also very easy to hit from the ground on a long Par 5. It is pricey for the performance. If I had to do it again, I would get a Ping. Really liked the feel of this club so I decided to try it out. The stock shaft was good but when I put a Proforce 65 in it, it's as long (and straight) as anything out there. Even with a closed face, I can still work the ball in any diretion. I used to have 2 drivers: 975D w/ EI70 when I'm on and TiSi w/ EI70 when I wasn't swinging so well. Now, I have the best of both worlds. I sold both of my other drivers and was able to buy 2 new Hogan wedges. Solid feel and response from center face impact. Distance matching or beating any other driver that I have played. Noticably better response from off center hits. Similar Products Used: I have hit the Callaway Steelhead, and Hawkeye as well as the Titelist 975D |

Cobra Gravity Back
I have been golfing for all of three months but I started out using an inexpensive driver. When I used the Cobra for the first time, there was a difference so extreme that I cannot wait until I can afford to get new fairway woods too. I didn't change anything about my swing with the new club but now I consistently hit the ball straighter and further. My confidence has sky-rocketed and I am able to compete with more seasoned golfers. Similar Products Used: None |
