KZG PFT 300 Drivers

KZG PFT 300 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

The PFT/300 features KZG’s “Progressive Face Technology”. The face is ultra-thin in the center (2.3mm), and thinner yet at the perimeter (1.8mm). Greater tensile strength and elasticity is achieved by heat treating and forging the face insert. The ball literally explodes off the face. Classic deep face design in a 300 cc head. The interior weighting gives optimal trajectory with reduced spin. The gear effect is designed to control mis-hits.

Strength:

it has a history of success. Michael Campbell won the 2005 US Open using this putter, not to mention all the ones in use on the pro tours (yes - for endorsement money, but they could also choose another brand if it really was a bad product). So emergency roadside truck repair

I got two PTF 300s one from the old foundery and the other from the new. I must say that i like the older one the best. I average 270yards and my record recently streachted to 330yards. I have been playing w/ this driver for 3 years and it is not coming out of my bag anytime soon. Awosome driver. Will always like to try the new drivers but after spending $400 on a Ping driver last year i have decided to put my faithful KZG back in my bag.

Classic looking driver with beautiful finish. This driver looks and feels great. Ive had my PFT for two seasons now and like it. This club doesnt feel as solid on miss hits, but the resulting distance is surprising. I have to admit that the sound at impact is a disappointing "clank" that I continue to find mildly annoying.

I'm only 14 and I got this driver as a gift from my uncyle, who couldn't hit well with it, with my old driver I could hit 175-200 average, but now I see myself hitting consistantly in 220-240. It has really changed my game.

Ipuchased a 300 pft with a rapport cirrus stiff shaft from ebay and at first I was a bit sceptical, I have just completed my fourth round using this beast, believe me I have never hit the ball as far as this and I have been playing this game 30yrs, this club feels good, looks good and by golly its really doing me good.

I have two drivers, one w/ a Harrison Pro-Series Low Launch (R-S) 9dg and another one w/ a AJ Tech shaft (S) 8dg. My fist driver was the one w/ the Harrison shaft, and i have averaged about 260-270 my record hit was 327,I think i might have had the wind behind me on this one but i have put it at 312 and 307 down the middle a few times. It has been in my bag for 2 years now and is not coming out any time soon. I am going to replace the shaft on the one w/ the AJ Tech shaft w/ Aldila ONE Low Launch and see what happens. I think KZG have done an awsome job w/ this head and its going to take them a while to come up w/ something better.

I started the 02' golf season with a golf membership at a tough links course, and my used KZG driver just purchased. Had the Callaway BB+ (8'), but after the face caved wanted to see what the big deal was with this kzg driver....I was killing my old driver (can hit PW from 150 if need) but I noticed immediately more carry off the 9 degree w/Innovative shaft-s), I've let all sorts of people hit it to bet it would outdo what they carried....it did always, and I mean straight. I ended the season in Nov. 02' very aggressively with this club. I gambled and landed on par 4's staring at 5-8ft eagle putts, eyeing greens on par 5's (500+ yrds) with a 9 iron dangling in my hand. To be honest, I was more impress by the Driver than the club I was left with on my 2nd shot. The KZG made me a much better driver. At least demo one!

I picked it up on Saturday and played it cold on Sunday. Folks I agree with many of the other reviewers this steel driver is long and straight. I averaged 295 today with it and hit 4 or 5 320+. I have struggled off the tee for the last 4 months after a 18 month layoff due to my 12th knee operation. I cured my driver woes real quick with this club. I only missed 2 fairways all day. First time I did that it many a moons. Great stick at any price if I loose it I'll buy another one and put the same Grafaloy Pro Lite 35 X-flex in it.

I put this into play two years ago. It has been the most consistent and longest driver that I've ever played. I compared it to Titelist, Cobra, PING and have no regrets at all with the KZG. I have a Harrison Classic Lite Low Launch shaft in it.If I lost it tomorrow, I would try to get another just like it.

I've demo'd lots of drivers looking for 'THE' driver. This is about as close as I could find to that. It's not so much the length that impresses me about this club, it's the consistancy. I've always hit a fairly long ball, so distance wasn't what I was looking for. I'd say on the average that I've probably gained about 5 yards. I will tell you that my drives have found the fairway nearly every time I hit the driver. Even the off-center hits seem to find the fairwy. And those off-center hits are not short. I didn't need to spend $400 for the advertising costs for a club that, in my opinion, I hit as well as this club.
