I know this review is a little late, but thought I'd add one, in case anyone out there is looking to buy a used version of this club. I loved this driver, while it lasted. Unfortunately, the face separated from the club-head after only one season of use.
Yes, that's right, the face and club-head are not one piece!
Nice performance, shoddy construction.
For that reason I have to give this product only a 2 out of 5.

This driver smokes! I knew nothing about this driver when I saw it at a LGS. It's a Liquid Metal HLS 100i with 8.5 loft and was in a clearance bin going for $50.00 Canadian. It looked interesting so I brought it to the back of the store and cranked a few balls into the net. It felt and sounded sweet so I bought it. (Did I mention I bought if for $50.00 Canadian, eh!). Next day, I played in a tournament and smoked my drives. I was able to more or less draw and fade the ball 280+ yrds. The balls were launched in a nice low flight pattern with no ballooning effect. With more use I'm sure I'm going to like this club even more. If you can find one these baby's cheap and want to crush some drives, buy one!! You won't regret it.

Long and forgiving. I hit this driver at least 20-30 yards longer then my GGB. I'm very happy with this stick.

Bought this club on a whim (only $99)as my conforming stick,I have an Adams 363R. So far only hit a 100 balls or so on the range, but the initial results are very positive. My accuracy with this club was very close to that of my 4 wood. The length was very good for a 10* head. About 240 yds at a 20 degrees fahrenheit.

I watched the price fall on the complete clubat TGW and others. I never went ahead and purchased one because I wanted to replace the shaft and didn't want to pay for a sub-standard shaft to acquire the club only to re-shaft the driver once I received it. Golfsmith (www.golfsmith.com) now stocks the clubheads only for $79.50 each. You can talk to their order desk to select a shaft (their staff are excellent - and honest!)or you can just by the clubhead and take it anywear to get a shaft that fits you. I installed an Adila HM2000 Graphite (S) and love it! Total cost with shaft and grip (I assembled the components) was $115USD

Customer Service

The LM link for golf products has been removed from the website. The folks at Golfsmith were excellent! I've been ordering components from them for years. They even called me back prior to my order shipping to make sure that I had a ferrule (the LM HLS driver requires a special size ferrule)

Purchased this club on sale. I loved its performance while it lasted as I was consistently 300+ yards off the tee. Unfortunately, it did not last very long as the shaft failed after only two rounds and one hit off the toe. I frankly do not understand why the manufacturer would put such a superior head on such an obviously inferior shaft. The people at Edwin Watts who were great) offered to replace it or give me credit for it, but after talking to several golfers with similarly high swing speeds who also had the same problem, I decided to have it reshafted with a quality shaft. The moral: if you have a high swing speed have this club reshafted or risk hurting someone when the head flies off. Incidentally, I have never broken a shaft before.

The club is very forgiving in reference to slice. If you hit it to the side, it's because you aimed wrong or you sliced it incredibly bad. It does have a tinny sound when you make contact that can be annoying but the performance makes up for that. My only problem is that I hit over 250 yards consistently with this club, so when I get into trouble it tends to be big trouble.

I just bought this driver, 8.5* loft. I love it. It goes straight and can fade when I want or draw now. Great distance, easily 15-25 yards more. I always have had a problem with my driver, gets too much loft, too high off the tee. I really like the 8.5* gives me excellent distance and good loft. Very pleased with the club, too bad they stopped making them. Consistently hooked with my Bubble Burner. This club has helped me get rid of that nasty hook.
