This is an Amazing driver...it has the least dispersion of all the drivers i've so far hit!Its never too far right or left from intended aim.It has a lovely subdued but powerful feel at impact as well as through the swing...the regular stock Exsar shaft suits me fine and keeps me in play more often than not and arouund 260+ yards down the fairway.Highly recommended!!

This is the best driver I've had. With Adila NV shaft, this driver is the perfect combination between distance and control. The most outstanding thing in this driver is its trajectory which you cannot find from other drivers. All in all, this is the A+++++ driver

Model Reviewed: mizuno mp-001, 10 degree, regular

yes, this ia fantastic piece of golf equipment. What I like most about it, that the weight distribution and the feel goes so well with my mizuno mx-23 irons.
The 10 degree driver is long and easy to play, but don´t expect misteries, how long you hit will more relate to your swing. But without doubt the mp-001 is one of the easier drivers to play and you can shape your shots very well. Comparing to my old driver (Callaway Big Bertha) I gained 30 yrd. in length and still have the feeling to be more precise. The better your handicap the more you will profit from this driver.Excellent shaft and good acceleration. Overall is think it is the "feel" of this club which gives you confidence. Seems a pretty good combination to me.

Best driver I have ever hit bar none. I change drivers about as often as I change clothes and this one has been in my bag for a year now. I do hit the ball long (avg 310) but now I hit it so long and straight with this club it's almost embarassing. Even mis-hits go relatively straight and 90% as long. The epitome of this club is last fall I was playing at a course in Pinehurst and hit a drive 347 yards with absolutely no wind on a dead flat hole and was 7 ft from my pitch mark. Mizuno is by far the club of choice for me and this driver does nothing to change that.

Bought this club because i just bought the mx900 irons and was impressed so what the heck, might as well try the driver too. What i like about this driver is the fact that you don't have to change the way you swing. my other drivers,(pingI3-975D)you have to be careful not to role your hands over to quick or you'll duff hook it left. With this driver you take the same swing you take with your irons and BINGO - straight and long. Now i'm impressed. Thats the way it should be. (maybe thats why some people don't think this club is that much better because there set in there ways and the way they swing there driver) I think this company knows what there doing when it comes to golf. Not just making golf clubs but golf clubs that work together and perform together.Mizuno does it again.

Model Reviewed: Mizuno MP-001 9* w/ Aldila NV 65 stiff flex

I bought this driver online off ebay in great condition for $75. The first thing I noticed is the boring ball flight that I was achieving in comparison to my old 10.5* Cobra ss380 in regular flex, which balooned. My swing speed is in the upper 90's , low 100's, and I can hit this club anywhere from 240-280. It took a while to get used to the sound in comparison to my old driver, but when you hit this club solid it feels great. Workability is good, but take this with a grain of salt as I am just now learning to work the ball both ways at will. Also, I would only recommend the stiff Aldila shaft to players with higher swing speeds as mine is borderline to slow to be playing it. But, overall a very solid product.

After reading lots of great reviews, I really expected this club to perform well, but was really disappointed. The Mp-001 hits the ball a lot shorter than many other drivers and it isn't too forgiving. In many robot tests it also shows that the Mp-001 has very poor slice and hook dispersion, so this club isn't for the wild hitters.

Model Reviewed: mp-001 9 deg. reg. flex driver

Let me start off by saying that Mizuno is a true friend to have in your golf bag. When your golfing buddies are making fun of your drive, which is 290 and down the middle, as they're heading for the ruff looking for their drives, you happily pull out your 8 iron (MP-32 Cut Muscle) and nail the green in 2. After, of corse they find their balls and land either short or left and right of the green. This is a current experience and it would had never happened had I not purchased the Mizuno MP-001. 9 Degree loft really makes the ball fly. Not Balloning flight, but the kinda flight that makes the ball get smaller and smaller at each second its in the air. The clubs weighting feels like it turns itself over leaving you less work to do at point of contact. The result is a clean, square face at impact, letting the groves on the face work their magic. What it does is give you a nice, straight ball flight eliminating unnessicary spin in the ball. with proper stance, grip and swing, you can make this club work for you, without it putting too much spin on the ball, resulting in your ball being in the forest, or in the drink. I've tried the Callaway 454 and the Fusion (junk). The weighting on these clubs just can't compare with the heel-to-toe weighting the Mizuno MP-001's have. Cobra SZ series is a real nice club as well, but I wasn't as consistant as I wanted to be. Well the MP-001 fixed that for me. Now, I'm clocking more fairways then ever, and I'm giving a lot of work to my short Irons due to the great distance I'm getting. As always, try this club for yourself. Know your swing and choose the flex that best serves your swing. I really think your gonna like this club. from bag to address, this is a beautifull club, but what it delivers is the important thing, and it does that!!
