I bough this driver on Golfexhange.com for $40.00 with a Grafalloy Prolaunch shaft and I love it. The seller said it had a few scratches on the crown and they were minimal. This club is a more forgiving than my old Titlest 975j and longer. The trajectory is mid to high and it is long. I'm not a 300-yard hitter but his club does allow me a chance to score from the short grass or light rough. This is the best golf purchase I've made all year.

Model Reviewed: MP-001 400cc. 9 degree Aldila NV stiff flex

I got a very good deal from 3balls.com. I paid for only 130 usd for a brand new one with Aldila NV shaft installed from the factory. Before using this club, I had been used TM 580xd for while. That one is a very good driver too, but I think the clubhead is too big for me. The distance I got from 580xd was superb but I could not find consistency from it. So, i decided to look for a new driver which can offer me more accuracy. After reading the reviews in this website, I decided to go for MP001 400 cc. Aldila shaft flex s. I can say that this one is the best driver ever!!! The distance I got from my new driver is 300 yrds consistently. More importantly, I found that it is very easy to control. As a result, almost 90% of the balls I hit in one round are always in the fairway. Moreover, I really like the trajectory of the ball; it is not too high so that the ball rolls a lot after it lands on the fairway. Without a doubt, this driver is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had been looking to purchase a new driver for awhile, narrowed it down to Taylor Made XD580 or Mizuno MP-001. I saw TGW.com had a smoken' deal on the Mizuno that I couldn't pass up. What a hot driver. Took it out to the range and found I'm finnaly able to nail drives into the 280's and further. (I previosly drove in the 250's with a Cleveland Quad-Pro driver.) The Mizuno MP-001 was very forgiving on miss-hits, drove long and straight, and had a great feel and sound. The Graffaloy regular flex shaft wasn't as whippy as many other drivers with regular flex shafts. A beautifull club with oustanding quality and craftsmanship. This was the first Mizuno product I put into my bag and it won't be the last, as I will be saving up to purchase Mizuno MP-32 irons.

Unbeleivable, this cub just plain rocks. I have tried a lot of drivers ove the last year trying to find one that fits me perfectly and this is it. I have only had the club for a little over a week and still getting used to it but it is just so fun to hit. The head appears smaller at address so it makes me concentrate more on hitting than swinging. I am a pretty long hitter and get over 300 most of the time and this club does the same but straighter and such a sweeeeeeeeet sound when you knock it. I have a natural fade and get it up to 320 or so and if I hit a nice draw it goes over 340-345. The trajectory is mid and not too high so you get a great amount of roll in the fairway and even rips thru the rough cause the ball is hauling tail..... Club is very forgiving to me and I think ti will for you too. You also can't beat the price and a GREAT BONUS is the headcover, not a sock type but a zipper type so it comes off and goes back on easily and not a pain liek sock covers.

Just switched from the Big Bertha 454, which I really like....The MP-001 is longer, straighter, and has better feel...Love the look at address...Head appears small...for $149.99 brand new at TGW, what a steal.

I have tried a lot of drivers and this one feels great. I am not one of those 300+ yard hitters. I have a CobraSZ and only hit it about 235 yards. I got this Mizuno and hit it consitently 250-260yards. I like the sound and the feel. Give this driver a try. I also have Adila NV shaft in it, this is a great shaft.

Model Reviewed: MP-001 10deg Aldila NV 65 Reg

I started out this year to find a driver to replace my Calaway Warbird knock-off. First I picked up a 975D 8.5 deg, EI-70 stiff off of e-bay used for a good price. I liked the feel and distance but watch out if you get off plane a little as it would slice or hook pretty bad. Next I found a Butler SSti 9.5deg with a Bimatrix stiff shaft. I hit the ball pretty straight with the Butler but the distance was not nearly as good as the 975D. Next I bought yet another 975D but this one was 9.5deg with a regular Prolite 35 shaft. I liked this one much better than the 8.5deg stiff. It was much more forgiving with very good distance. I didn't have near the problems with hooks or draws like with the first 975D. Then I came across a good deal on the Mizuno MP-001 10deg with an Aldila NV 65 reg shaft and I could not pass it up. Boy am I glad I got it! It is very long! About 10-20 yrds longer than the 9.5 deg 975D and it is very, very forgiving. I hit it alot at the range and my confidence in the club went way up. The first time I teed it up at the course I hit a 284 yrd drive off the first tee. The rest of the round continued in much the same way. Even the not so good swings left very good second shot oportunites and did not stray very far off-line. The bottom line for me is that I love the MP-001! I also do like the 975D's as they are also very good drivers as evidenced by all the good reviews on them. For me the Mizuno just oozes confidence for me. I feel that if I want to try and get a little extra out of a drive I can do the old "Grip-It and Rip-It" swing and not get into too much trouble if I make a bad ball strike. I picked the club up on e-bay for $85 which is about the same cost as the Aldila NV 65 shaft alone! I don't think anyone would be dissapointed in getting one of these Mizunos in their hands.........try it you'll like it!!!!!

I have past reviews here on different drivers but I always come back to playing Mizuno. I've tried all different drivers in search for the "perfect" one to put in my bag for a long time. I think I found it in this club! In my search, I was down to 2 drivers of choice Cleveland 400 or the Callaway 415. Then a sales rep suggested to try the MP-001 and that was it! I compared these clubs on a simulator and got the following results for my swing: Cleveland 400 Launch angle: 13 degrees Ball speed: 148 Dispertion: good Callaway 415 Launch angle:12 degrees Ball speed: 145 Dispertion: better Mizuno MP-001 Launch angle: 13 degrees Ball speed: 156 Dispertion: best As you can see, this was better for me so I decided to take it for my first round of the year yesterday and WOW! Now I know everyone brags about distance, control and some I must say is pretty exagerated. I'm keeping it real and telling you what happened to me. 500yds Par5 five. After my tee shot I had 190 to the green. Par 4 386yds I ended up with about 90 yds to the pin and yes they were from the middle of the fairway! It must have been the CF crown on the top to make it lighter or what not but this club is GREAT! I've found the one for me!

This driver is awesome. I am coming off 2 years with the 983K. This is the best driver I have ever hit. It has a relatively flat trajectory for tons of roll but hits it high and deep. THe K just shoots straight up. The mizuno shoots up but flattens out and gets tons of roll. The feel is amazing. I am not too sure about the composite technology as this is not the highest launching driver. But it looks great at address. The feeling is awesome. Not a driver for those with slow swing speeds. The better you swing it, the better it feels. It feels better the harder you hit it too. Highly recommended. I am glad i tried this instead of buying the TM R5 or the Ping G2. Much better driver than both. Plus its a bargain at $100 on ebay.

I'm a power golfer who needs to overpower holes to score. I have been playing with a TM 320 stiff and had no real complaints about this club. But I broke down and got a MP off of ebay with a Purple Ice XStiff shaft. This thing is amazing. It may only be slightly longer than my old diver, but the consistency is where its value comes in. Even on shots that would normally fade all the way to the rough tend to hold its line and stay in the short stuff. I'm also able to carve up those tight par 4's. This club is exreamly workable from a draw to a fade.
