A very good club. Scary long. Is not for high handicappers because it is not very forgiving. Very long though. If you purchase one, do not get mizuno shaft. Put a better shaft in it. I put a proforce 75.

I have tested all kinds of drivers out there from the Ping, Tm320, GBB, Hawkeye, Steelhead Plus. Almost everything. This is probably the best feeling driver i have yet tested. The sound the club makes at impact is amazing. The feel is unbelieveable. Of course with a forged face feedback is going to tell you exactly how you struck the ball. Distance is about 5 to 10 yards better than most other drivers. I did have the shaft changed to the UST 65 so i could get a lower trajectory on my drives. I was so happy with the driver that i had to get the 3 wood and the 5 wood. Mizuno has the best forging proces. The feedback on all their forged clubs are amazing.

WOW.......
I have played a Callaway GBB for many years and have been very pleased. I tried this driver and fell in love with it. I have read all the reviews about switching shafts and considered it at first but the pro stiff arc accel shaft seems to be doing the job just fine. To me this driver feels like a 975d with the distance and sound of a ping.

Update - See my previous review from 9.22.00. Still love this driver. I recently replaced the Harrison shaft with an EI70 looking for more weight(60g v. 80g). Big improvement. Still very long, but better control than the previous shaft.

If you want mad distance to your drives buy this driver ! Probably more powerful than any other. This will instantly add at least 10 yards to your drives, honestly. It is exceptionally forgiving too. In fact it's excellent. The only thing you want to avoid is to hit it on the toe. That's when people start saying, "this driver is a piece of sh**" because you snap hook it when you hit it out on the toe. Fades usually straighten out. Anyway before buying that new Titleist975D,Taylor Made 300series, or that Callaway Hawk-Eye, PLEASE try this out, you will NOT be disappointed.

Oh........my........God!!!!!!!!!!
This this leaves me speechless. I bought it off ebay with the PF75 Stiff shaft (might try x-stiff also). I already had the 5 wood which I loved so I thought I'd try it.
The first time I took it out to the range I couldn't hit it at all. I thought to myself "great, what a waist of money". I kept hitting low hooks-- 20ft off the ground; good distance but I didn't feel comfortable with it. Also, the shaft felt like a 2x4 in my hands.

This past weekend I tried it for the second time. The first couple of swings-- same thing. I took a look at the club face and noticed the impact pattern was concentrated toward the toe!! I moved a 1/2 inch closer to the ball and let her rip--- THAT'S BETTER!!! Perfect trajectory and incredible carry and roll.

Needless to say this club receives my highest recommendation.

For the last few months i have been looking for a new driver to replace my GBB. Although i hit the GBB consistently well i wanted a lower ball flight and i thought driver technology had moved on and there might be a driver out there that could improve on the GBB.

I tried a number of drivers including the ERC, 975D, TM320 and Ping and eventually the T-Zoid.

In this review i am trying to be honest about the clubs i have tested. All of the above drivers are extremely good. Some reviewers have suggested otherwise but since most shoot in the 80's and 90's may i suggest you concentrate on your swing rather than blaming the equipment.

For me the ERC, 975D, TM320 and Ping all hit the ball well at times but none were consistent enough for me to make the change from my GBB. Although i will say that the TM320 did come close.

After trying these clubs i finally decided to try the T-Zoid. What a surprise !!. On the simulator it performed extremely well. Surpassing the other clubs on distance and accuracy. I have my doubts about simulators so borrowed the T-Zoid and took it out on the course.

Well i was very presently surprised with the results. Over 18 holes i hit a number of drives on each hole and hit the ball long and straight. A few drives did fade but only by a few yards. I did try the TM320 the previous week on the course and the T-Zoid was longer by about 10 yards.

Since then i have purchased the T-Zoid and played about 10 rounds and a number of visits to the driving range. Its fair to say that i have had to make some minor changes to my swing to accommodate the T-Zoid. With the GBB i was a bit more aggressive in the swing (a bit of a hitter with a quick tempo rather than a smooth swinger). Now that i have taken some of that aggression out i am consistently long and in the fairway.

I am not saying i nail a drive 300 yards every time straight down the middle, bad shots do happen but that's down to the swing not the club. On occasions i do tape the face of the club so i can see where on the face i am striking the ball. From this i can say that the club is also very forgiving even on off center hits with surprisingly good distance.

I bought a 10 degree with a stock stiff shaft and this seems to suite me fine i have no intentions to re-shaft as others have.
The ball flight is great, low to medium with a very boring flight.

This driver has given me what i wanted in a new driver. Its longer with a lower ball flight and for me more accurate than my GBB. No driver is going to hit it 300 yards straight every time, and those reviews that say it does need to wake up. With a little work on my part the T-Zoid appears to have improved my game and i have no hesitation in recommending people try this club before making a decision. If you like the look of the TM320 but find it to big to control try the T-Zoid as i think it does have a similar shape.

My HC is 8, my swing speed is around 95 (short and quick swing) and at the moment here in the UK i am hitting the T-Zoid about 250-260 yards in cold wet conditions.

I also bought this club on a recommendation from a friend. It replaces a Callaway driver. I ordered it with the UST Proforce 75 shaft. The ball flies off the face with a perfect trajectory. With the Callaway I was hitting the ball extremely high and around 245 yards. I'm hitting the Mizuno around 270. Extremely easy to setup and nice looking too. The balls feels extremely solid coming off the clubface. I highly recommend it.

Bought the club on the recommendation of a friend/pro who advised to go with UST shaft. The club is everything that has been written about it. It sets up beautifully and gives a feeling of confidence at address. Ball flight is perfect. I tend to hit the ball high but the Mizuno 9 gives a more boring flight which is perfect for FLorida winds. Distance is superior to other drivers I have owned.

I have only has this driver for a week, but GOOD GOD! I have never driven the ball so long, straight and consistantly. Switched from my Callaway and I am very pleased that I did. This is not a very easy club to hit. However, if you have a good swing, and you don't slice the ball, do yourself a favor and seriously consider this club. It's true about the shaft, it has a little more flex than most, so if you're used to playing with a regular, go with the regular-stiff. The club is gorgeous and sets up very nice. Once you get the swing down, it's very cooperative to work with. Fades, draws, high, low, you name it, this club can do it. And the Forged Ti face gives the ball a beautiful and powerful flight-path. In my mind, the best driver out there right now.
