Nickent Golf 3dx Square Drivers

Nickent Golf 3dx Square Drivers

DESCRIPTION

A high MOI (moment of inertia) forged titanium head in a new avant-garde square geometry are featured in the latest driver from Nickent Golf. The 3DX Square driver is designed to go straighter with its Total Accuracy Control technology. This new geometric shape moves the CG further back in the clubhead and offers a very high MOI that helps keep the clubhead from twisting at impact. This 3DX Square profile repositions weight to the corners of the clubhead, raising the MOI across both the horizontal and vertical axes. This produces greater stability and forgiveness for ball striking across the entire face, which is much wider than your average driver.

I bought this Driver (10,5) a few days ago from Rockbottomgolf - shipping to Germany only 2 days. I was really surprised!

Played it at the range and next 2 days on the course and tournament. I was hitting straight balls down the fairway, distance about 240 - 260 yards incl. roll. If you play the ball a little bit lower it rolls and rolls ... The ballflight is a light draw. The shaft in my Driver is the UST V2 in regular (factory shaft). I can recommend this club!

Like lots of high handicappers, I have a slice off the tee that keeps on bending. After reading some reviews of the square head drivers, I bought the Nickent and have played over 20 rounds with it in the past two months. I keep track of my putts and fairways hit as well as my score and have improved my score by 8 strokes (into the low 90's), fairways hit have increased to 50%+ per round, and distance off the tee has increased to the 230 - 240 yard range, since I bought this driver. Drives are straighter, and the club is VERY forgiving since mis-hits tend to be straight and short, butstill playable. It has required a slower swing and a realignment of where I play the ball in my stance, a little farther back. I have been able to shape a fade when necessary. It was a bargain at $99 and I expect that my score will improve another 2 to 5 strokes when my long irons become more consistent. I recommend this club as an excellent game improver for the high handicapper who has trouble off the tee.

I bought my Nickent 3DX driver a few weeks ago and was a bit skeptical at first. I had never heard this brand before, but it got great reviews so I gave it a chance. I havn't been happier with my driver so far. There is one hole on the golf course I go to that you have to drive the ball at least 240 yards to reach the dog leg left in two (there is a creek that runs through it), before I had this driver I tried but failed many times to reach it. So I began to hit the safe shot instead. Last time i went I hit 2 balls safly across and did reach easily in two. Not only distance but with good accuracy, I was able to stop playing my duck hook my uncle jokes with me about. I would highly recommend this driver to anyone looking for a new driver. And not to mention a great price.

I have never been able to hit a driver consistantly straight like this one. As most golfers have encountered at some point, my drive was experiencing a very nasty slice to the right. I tried this driver out at the local golf store and found it quite cosistant in the simulator. Okay, now lets see how it performs in the real world.....

Got to the driving range and I was pounding the ball a good 225-240 PLUS roll for an average of 250-265 yards. Most of these drives were straight up the middle, with a few exceptions of a 6-8 degree left of centre shot. WERE DID MY SLICE GO? Thanks to this fantastic new driver....I no longer slice the ball. Effortless swing with this driver = centre of the fairway 250 yds. Give it a try. It is better than any driver I've tried and at 1/4 the cost!

Picked this club up for $99 from Rockbottom Golf a few weeks ago. 10.5 Degree Stiff Shaft. Shipped down under in 4 days. Top stuff.

I'll be honest, I was a bit worried after my first range session. Couldn't seem to find a comfortable swing with this club.
Tried to swing it like my old driver... Results were bad. Either sprayed them right, or hooked them left.

This morning I went out for 9 holes with my social club. Got a few strange looks when I pulled the headcover off, but even more when I hit my first drive.
Soup can on a stick I call it now! Personally I love the sound...
Stepped onto the tee, slowed everything down... BINGO! Nice steady swing is all this club needs. Ball simply explodes off the face. Other players couldn't believe the distance I was getting!
Swung at half the pace of my old driver, with more distance and accuracy gained.
Hit twice as many fairways as I normally do.
For $99, what have you got to lose?
Have now got my eye on a set of Nickent 3DX Hybrid/Irons!

Have been using this club for about 5 weeks, playing an average of 4 times a week. Have the 10.5* with regular flex shaft. I had been using stiff shafts in all previous drivers, but the V2 R flex seems to hold up perfectly for my swing speed(mid to high 90's). Markings on the clubhead appeal to my eyes making it one of the easier drivers to line up. Distance I get off solid hits is usually in the 270-280 range(carry + roll). Have to say this is the first club to give me a noticeable 10-20 yd increase over ALL other drivers I've tried, next closest being a Hi Bore. Titleist, Cobra, Adams, Callaway, Burner all bunch together for me. Best part of course is hitting the fairways-very consistent and forgiving, can draw when I need to. Fade is not as easy(can slice if not careful). Off center hits lose some distance as expected, gets me in the 240-250 range, but still holds the line. Trajectory is medium, does not balloon. Get a lot of forward roll with this driver and is very consistent again.
Seen previous review, hard to believe we have the same club, but everyone has a different swing. This is the best all around driver I've ever played, bought new for $99 on Ebay, life is good.

I tried the Square for a couple of rounds... have to say I am not impressed. The V2 R flex shaft sounded very strange when tapped along the shaft... this is NOT the V2 you find in other sticks, with the weight, torque etc printed on the shaft... I think it is a mass produced shaft with the V2 markings. Could be wrong, doubt it.

Not hard to hit, but not particularly easy either... very light. Easy to crank off a duck hook or a big push. Distance is good, launch is high. Probably an OK stick for high hdcp'ers with slow to moderate swing speeds, and seniors might like it too.

I use a TM 580xd 12* when I want a high loft club, and it is a better stick than this (Proforce 65 S flex), at least for me. Tin can clang too, although that is not a big issue, it is performance that counts. I don't like looking at it either... just me.

For regular use, there are MANY drivers much better... I like the old Cobra SS310 and SS350, and the MacGregor NVG2 driver. Hi-Bore XL is better too if R flex, just to name a few.

JMHO, but I'll pass on this stick, liked the original 3DX though!

I started playing golf last year and have been competly hooked ever since (sound familiar?) I´ve tried a lot of drivers and the Taylormade R7 suited me best and bought that last december. I bought a driver for my girlfriend, but couldn´t help myself and bought the 3DX for myself. WOW! This driver beats my R7 in every way! I realy have to try to make a miss-hit and the distance is unbelievable! Do yourself a favour and give this driver a spinn.

As a not too experienced golfer I have been trying several drivers over the last year and-a-half. All bought used and sold again after trying. This driver is the best of them all. You can still slice or hook it but any half way decent swing will get you a straight ball flight.
The looks take some getting used to (brick-on-a-stick) but the setup is nice. The UST V2 shaft is a pleasantly matted yellow, the overall looks are great. As with all square drivers the sound is loud but it is not half as noisy as it's Callaway counterpart that sounds as if you hit an empty drum.
It may not be very workable, but I'm not in the business of producing draws or fades on demand, just straight is all I ask for, and you have to hit real bad to get worse than a gentle draw or fade.
The distance I get is no worse than my previous drivers , even better if I hit it well. Yesterday I was left with just a short pitch on a 350 yards par 4. I am not used to driving more than about 200 yards as a rule, so I was pleasantly surprised. Even more so as the ball was in the middle of the fairway. I could have made a birdie if I had remembered to bring a putter...
The price I paid was ridiculously low as this was demo model that had been hit no more than a few times by a pro. Lees than a third of the price of the Callaway.
All in all I'm pretty sure this one will stay in my bag for a while.
