Nickent Golf 3dx Square Drivers

Nickent Golf 3dx Square Drivers

DESCRIPTION

A high MOI (moment of inertia) forged titanium head in a new avant-garde square geometry are featured in the latest driver from Nickent Golf. The 3DX Square driver is designed to go straighter with its Total Accuracy Control technology. This new geometric shape moves the CG further back in the clubhead and offers a very high MOI that helps keep the clubhead from twisting at impact. This 3DX Square profile repositions weight to the corners of the clubhead, raising the MOI across both the horizontal and vertical axes. This produces greater stability and forgiveness for ball striking across the entire face, which is much wider than your average driver.

This driver is amazing. Simply forgiving and looong. It took me a little while to get used to the square head, closed face, and 46" shaft, but once I did get the hang of it I was hitting straight bombs. Also love the low, boring trajectory. You can grab one of these for under $100 on ebay. With the stock proforce v2, this will be one of the best investments you've ever made!

Model Reviewed: Nickent 3DX Square Driver

When I first bought the Club I thought it was a great driver! hitting the ball a good 280-300 yards.
Although it hits well I have now gone through 2 of them as they start to crack along the top.... I'm very disapointed as I have not abused the club at all and have hit probably less than 30 hits with each of them... (not an exaggeration!) The rest of their clubs are awesome but their 3DX Square Driver has a major defect in it.. not sure if its only me or others have had the same problem.. so far this is my review of the club.

Model Reviewed: Nickent 3DX Tour 10.5 V2 Stiff

this is my first review of any club, and let me start by saying, this is a very good club. it has nice pop, and the sound in my opinion is not that loud or annoying. much more pleasing sound than the first sumo squared club. i have not taken this to a golf course yet, because there is still snow on the ground here, but hitting it indoors was quite a treat. i do find with my club however, the face seems to be a bit closed at address, almost exactly like the regular model. i am kind of disappointed since i bought the tour model for a square angle. i'm not sure if i just happened to get one like this, or if all the tour models are i or 2 degrees closed. the V2 shaft feels solid as always, and the grip is pretty tacky and soft. overall i'm pleased, but a square face angle would have been even better.

Model Reviewed: Nickent 3DX Square Tour Driver 10.5* Stiff flex

This is an amazing driver and the roll I get from it is unbelievable. It outdrove my R7 425 TP driver by at least 30 yards and it's very forgiving as well.
I never liked square drivers before but after trying the 3DX with the PROFORCE V2 shaft, well, I still don't like square drivers except the 3DX Square.
Pros: Can hit a ball with your eyes shut & with accuracy. Good roll.
Cons: Lousy headcover and very loud sound.

Customer Service

Can't go wrong with a good driver.

Loss of Distance my @$$, you can swing the HEdoublehockey sticks out of this club and keep it in play, I was blasting it a good 280, and its winter time, the ground is wet, I cant wait for it to dry up. This one is loud too though, very loud, but i dig it. The ball doesnt balloon either, square drivers kick butt, dont believe the rumors, their all BS, who doesnt want to hit it straight, I dont work it, KISS, keep it simple stupid, hit it straight. buy a square, and this one is cheap.

I bought this club for dirt cheap, and was still in the plastic. It was by far the best driver I have ever bought. The 2 degree closed face is a little bit to get used to, but I hit it further than the sumo. The V2 shaft is supposed to be stiff but CPM's out to X-Flex, which is not a big deal. Great club, not as noisey as the Nike or Callaway.

Model Reviewed: Nickent 3DX Square 10.5 Regular

After hitting this at the range for a few sessions, I found that the 46" inch shaft was a little much. I shortened the shaft to 45" and found that this club was a little more manageable. I owned the Sumo 2 driver before this so will compare the two. First, I found the shaft stock V2 shaft that comes with the Nickent to be a little stiffer (even before cutting it down) that the Diamana stock shaft. Both are still good shafts. Second, the setup. Both obviously have square heads and found that after a few swings, it was pretty easy to get used to both. I did feel though the Nickent took a little more adjusting due to the 2 degrees closed versus the 1 degree for the Sumo 2. Both have a very straight ball flight so if you like to work the ball, either of these would not be the club for you. Now, anyone who has been around or have hit one of these, knows the sound is loud. I found the Sumo 2 to be a bit louder and a little more like you are hitting a softball. But, I will say, after a few shots down the middle, you won't even notice it. As for distance, you will probably give up a little due to the square design compared to let's say the R7 but I did find the Nickent driver to be a tad bit longer of the two. This may have to do with the siffer shaft, not really sure. Overall, both are good clubs if you are looking for help straightening out your drives. If I had to choose between the two, I would probably choose the Nickent just for the additional distance I was able to get out of it (and it's not quite as loud).

Model Reviewed: 3DX square, 10.5 regular

I have reviewed many drivers on here and for the most part I rave about them but a few rounds later ... I DITCH THEM!

Guess I am a 'driver' junky, and get great pleasure in going on EBay and looking for the ultimate beast.

Recently, i loved the Nickent 4DX; a great looking club which is definately a long hitter, but I found that design not too forgiving when my swing is not firing on all cylinders.

Bought, custom fitted, the Titleist D1 but although forgiving, it is not a nice looker and not a club that seems to hit as long as it feels.

Ping Rapture; Snake Eyes; Srixon; |Nike etc etc have all gone the same way - and in truth not a lot can distinguish between any of them.

Any how, I decided to try the 3DX square, but before posting this, i tried it for a little longer than normal to see how it really is.

Ok, this is without doubt or question the straightest driver that I have ever bought. It is also as long as most (longer than the D1 or Ping, but perhaps not quite as long as the 4DX).

The V2 regular shaft kicks in perfectly for my SSR of 92mph. I am now hitting more fairways per round than in over 40 years of golf - YES, THAT IS CORRECT... 40 YEARS!!!!!

It wont rectify a poor or abysmal swing but, anything half decent will (some how) go straight off the face and finish up 250 yards away... in the fairway.

If you like to shape the ball, look elsewhere - but if, like me every drive is a bit of a lottery, THEN BUY THIS CLUB IMMEDIATELY.

aFTER READING THE BLURB ON THE nICKENT WEBSITE - it would appear they have achieved their goal of a driver that also hits a lower trajectory. My flight is usually high and too the right, with fade. Now i am hitting 15 degrees lower, straighter and in the main with a slight draw and run... something none of the other clubs stored in my garage have ever achieved.

The only downside was trying to get hold of one - Nickent dont supply to UK and i had to rely on EBay ... but it was worth the wait!!!!!

RRP was $179 but i got mine for £70.

At this moment in time, I feel this club is a 'go to' club and perhaps the time to change will be when Nickent combine their amazing 4DX technolgy into this club and thus make the 4DX square.... THAT IS IN THE PIPELINE AND WILL BE ONE 'ELL OF A CLUB!!!!!

Bye the way, this model was the standard model that helps the middle'high h/c - i am 12 h/c and it is just right for me. I have seen the Tour black oxide model, and that looks somewhat harder to hit.

I took my new Nickent 3dx square 12* driver out for the first time (mid fall golf, temp in the 50's)recently (without any driving range practice). Without a doubt it is the straightest and most forgiving driver I've ever used, not only is it straight and forgiving it's as long or longer than any driver I've used. When I received the 3dx I realized at 46 inches it was just to long for me, I cut it down to 44.5 inches, I couldn't ask for a better driver.

Model Reviewed: Nickent 3DX Square - V2 Stiff Shaft

After a family member went on an on about how he loved his new Calloway FT-i Square driver I broke down and tried these drivers out. I had not been carrying a driver in my bag for over two years due to a lack of confidence. Hitting 10% of fairways will do that. I tested the Calloway, Nike (which I liked) and then the Nickent. I noticed no differences in performance between the Nickent and Nike. With the Nickent I like the shaft much better and the lower price tag! With a swing that was 80-90% my 'normal' speed, I was able to hit the ball with amazing accuracy without sacrificing distance. Now I have accuracy off the tee and confidence to use this club on tight holes. My Nickent driver is my new 'go-to' club. I could never say that before. One caveat, it sounds like your hitting a fire hydrant with an aluminum bat, but the results are what turned heads more than the noise. I am a convert and now can say I shoot in the 80's where as before I was shooting in the 90's. It is well worth trying this club.

Customer Service

I have not had to worry about this.
