Nickent Golf GH Plus HyperForged™ Titanium Series Drivers

Nickent Golf GH Plus HyperForged™ Titanium Series Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Technology in its purest form has make possible the development of what we believe to be our most exciting product to date. By combining Reactive Face Thickness™ (RFT) technology (the power behind our 450 HyperSteel™ wood series) with the explosive strength characteristics of forged titanium, our design engineers have harnessed the power of the "spring-like effect" to produce a series of drivers that push the accepted legal limits of club performance.

Couldnt hit the thing to start with, big slices i suppose like the previous review, but after a couple of stints at the driving range im now hitting up to 50m further than my previous drivers. Two shots actually out of the range and straight as an arrow. Very forgiving and when centered this club hammers, BIG time.

Crankage. And straight crankage, which for me has never consistently happened before, except when I played every day on my high school golf team. I probably average 250, but straight. And in the fairway at 250 beats in the trees at 275 every time (admit it you agree). My FIRs have gone from <50% to ~70%. The huge sweet spot sums it up -- even extreme off the heel and off the toe shots somehow go straight. And that sums up how I can manage to keep it in the 80s with an occasional high 70s. The best driver I have hit at a bargain price.

Model Reviewed: GH Plus Hyperforged Steel 10*

I was in the store to buy some irons and after I had selected the Nickent Genex set, the salesperson handed me a 10* GH Plus Hyperforged Steel driver to hit. I gave it a try and consistently hit the ball in the center of the fairway. I bought it along with the set of irons. First thing I did was go directly to the range and give the driver a try (Copelands has an indoor hitting mat. You hit into a screen and a machine measures ball speed and spin and tells you where you hit it and how far). I was a little skeptical of how well I was hitting the fairway inside. There was no difference from inside to outside, I was hitting the ball straight and far and have been hitting it well since (as long as I don't try to kill it which produces a slice). Great club, may upgrade to the Genex or the Titanium series to compare.

I've played 2 rounds w this club and have 2 drives of at least 340 yards, non wind or terrain aided. Standard drive is at least 270. The head is a medium profile so I feel I get through the ball much better. I can't belive more people aren't playing this driver. I can hardly wait to get the fairway woods.

A Great feeling club!! I got this last year and I haven't regretted it since. It is very forgiving on miss hits, especially on the toe. The sweet spot is amazingly big and responsive. When you hit it good-you know. 20 yds longer on average with a draw. The UST stiff shaft what makes the club. I like the shaft so much i reshafted my titlest 975d 3 wood. If you are looking the weight of graphite shafts and the low torque of steel, the UST is the shaft for you.

I had never heard of the Nickent brand until the salesman at the X Change introduced me to it. I was looking for a ti driver under 100, and he said this is the best driver in that range. (It was pre-swung). Anyway, I took it out and have found it to be as long as my old GBigBertha. It's not offset, but it mysteriously straightened out my slice. Very happy.

I tried various drivers as you do,and found the Nickent to be as good if not better than most of the latest expensive drivers. It came with a Bi-Matrix shaft which suits my swing.I bought the 9' 360 and found that the ball stayed low and very true. It's greater sweet spot gives you confidence to smack it hard.I am thrilled with it.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks and six rounds. What I like about it the best is the size of the sweet spot. This is a very easy club to hit. Miss hits still manage to go out and and put you in play. I will feel the balll it off the toe and still manage to get it about close to 200 yards out. When you connect with the sweet spot look out. It launches the balls deep and straight. I carried over fairway bunker that I could never reach before. My guess it about 20 to 30 yards over my pro staff steel driver. The UST pro shaft is great. Definately have your shaft matched to your clubhead speed. I liked the balance of the club much better than anything else I tried. It feels like an extension of my arm. The Winn Grip is a nice touch as well. They will defineately be on my next set of Irons. I am hitting more greens in regulation. and more fairways. I am also playing shorter shots to the green. I have even come close to reaching par 5s in two for the first time in a long time. I do let off a big slice now and then. That is due to my swing fault though. I have found myself able to play a draw with the club when I need to. The trajectory is pretty high. I bought the 10 degree but may have considered the 9. I am still getting used to it but I am very happy with it so far.

I am so happy with this driver. I bought the hypersteel last year, and loved it. I saw the HUGE Titanium driver and had to have it. Its hard for me to believe that I could ever hit a 300 yard drive, but I have done it twice this year. I am consistently 275 yards. With the help of the GH plus Irons I have taken 10 strokes off of my game. For the quality and the price, I don't think they can be beat. I just had the local golf store special order a Nickent hat for me so I can do a little advertising for them. At least try one of these out, I am sure you won't be dissapointed. NO I DO NOT WORK FOR NICKENT, BUT I WISH I DID!
