Strength:

I am in my second year of play and have finally found the driver for me. I usually hit in the low 100 or high 90's. More often 90's now that I have the Ignite. I have been back and forth hitting drivers and 3 kinds of wood. This 13 degree has given me the control of a 3 wood off the tee and the distance of a driver.

None so far. | Tree chipper

This driver is a great deal for its price. I found it at a golf store for $90, and it is a great improvement over my previous driver. It takes a while to get used to, but once you do, you can bomb shots down the fairway consistently. A very good club.

Ive not been too particular about shafts in the past, but I agree wholheartedly with other reviws that the factory shafts are inadequate for these clubs. After some poking around I found that they are rated @ 4.5* torque which is stupid for such a big clubhead. I had to slow my clubhead speed WAY down, even with the stiff shaft to get decent contact. Reshafted to a Harrison pro 2.5 and what a difference!! Now I can rip the hide off the ball and the shaft doesnt care. Great clubhead with a decent shaft..
I tried bigger clubheads and found that 410cc's just feels perfect too me. 450cc clubs feel goby and cumbersome and not as smooth to me. To each their own.
The quality is definatly there, with a good hit I can bomb shots just as long as others I play with with bigger, name brand 2007 drivers. If I can hit this club, anyone can. I shoot in low 90's/ high 80's.

It seems to me that this club has something that others only strive for because of the nex-ti material, it gives a trampoline effect in the middle without causing off hits to go haywire. That means more fairways.. Im quite pleased with mine.. Given a better factory shaft I would give it 5 stars.

This is a fantastic club. I have tried a number of manufacturer's drivers during the last year, including Callaway, but none of them can complete with Nike’s Ignite.

The club looks very nice from the start, but looks count for nothing if it doesn't work. My first shot with the club on the range was long and very straight. This was just the beginning; after hitting a dozen balls I would say my driving distance had increased by about 25 yards. The club is also very forgiving and although range is sacrificed with a duff shot, direction isn't. The club makes quite a loud noise at impact, but with the shots it produces I’m certainly not bothered about people looking around!

The Nike Ignite is my new best friend and will be in my golf back for a VERY long time.

simply amazing. i got this club with a graffaloy stiff shaft off of ebay. had no idea if it was real or not, but nike authenticated it and i was able to register it on their website. first hit, behind my church into the woods...my jaw dropped. long and straight and high....knocked me off my feet. went out to the course the next day and knocked 10 strokes off of my horrible 115 score. one big plus for me is that i am still learning alot about golf and my swing. even if i mis-hit horribly the ball still travels far!!! and straight! i went looking for my ball in the treeline where i lost it, and found out i was looking about 75 yards short and way too far right. looked up in the fairway and there it was sitting on the edge about and inch from the rough. found out later that even with the mis-hit it was 250 out. that blew me away. my buddy looked over and said "there is no way that is your ball." and i showed it to him and he decided to use my driver the rest of his round!
lol. love this driver. definitely have found a keeper. was spending 30 bucks on a new walmart driver every 2 months, dropped 65 for this one (now they are ebaying for 100 easy) and don't have to worry about it for a while.
you won't be dissapointed.

I used to have a Callaway Big Bertha. My drives used to be really-really far. However, my problem is that I can't put up a correct stance when I address the ball. I would be standing up stiff like a pole. Due to that, my shots are not really consistant. As adviced many times by my fellow golfers, I changed to a driver that suits me (I am an asian...rather short...5ft5in). The shop was selling the Ingintes 380cc (I was told this model is Japan made for asians!) at dirt cheap price. So I thought, what the heck, get one! So I did. Headed straight to the range. First few shots were dissapointing. With a little change here and there (finally I can put up a perfect stance), I drove the ball dead straight and far. It felt like a wet dream! Yesterday, I entered a tournament and managed to bag 'longest drive'. I can never be too happy with this driver. The thing with Ignite is that you should never force your shots. Bring it down to a perfect swing and this baby will do its job. Because of this, many of my friends are starting to believe in nike. I also bought a T-100 utility (also made for asian) which gives me a good 200m of the fairway. In the tournament, i made a birdie out of a par5 effortlessly. After a perfect drive out in the center fairway, my 2nd shot with the utility landed my shot just 5 meters from the green. I now can claim that I have the right equipment to bring my scores down. All this I thank Nike as well as Tiger Woods for making me believe in the product.

Well lets just say on the 18 hole at Village Green golf course in sinking spring,pa the green is about 305 yards from the tee. The last 50 yards or so is up hill. I normally would hit it about 200-250 on a good drive(rare) today i bounce it on the green.......this is from someone who normally shoots in the 90's.......i have the nike ignite 460cc 10.5 driver with the prolaunch blue shaft(an upgraded shaft) this club is nice........oh and the fact that shop owners will say" oh that didnt sell..........no one liked it" the reason i got for this everywhere is people didnt like the dull sound it made when you hit the ball...........WHO CARES......if it goes straight and far it could sound like a cat screaming for all i care...........oh and get it on ebay.in stores it will be up to 299.99......i got it on ebay for 150.00

Model Reviewed: Nike Ignite 9.5*

I'm a Swoosh fan - and went to Golf Galaxy fully expecting to buy a Sasquatch, after reading alot of good things about it. When I got there, I asked the guy "What makes the SQ $100 better than the Ignite?" He went into his technology schpiel blah blah blah....
I said "Can I just hit them both?"
I hit about 10 drives with each, and my worst shots with the Ignite were better than all but 1-2 SQ drives. I normally drive in the 260 range, and I hit half the Ignite drives 275-285. The guy standing next to me waiting to hit was as surprised as I was.
I bought the Ignite and went straight to the course. First drive in real conditions was 280, first cut of rough. I hit 3 other drives 280-285, and 3 more in my previous max 260 range - all in fairway or first cut. (9 holes - after-work round)
Bottom line - as little as I get to play (maybe once a week) - I couldn't justify the extra $$ for the SQ hype.
