Nike did a great job. My driver swing is 110+ mph and a regular flex soon snapped. When I brought it back to the store I bought it from, Nike was able to not only repair teh shaft I had on my driver, but offered to put a stiff shaft on now so such events would not reoccur

Model Reviewed: Nike Ignite 450 13degree

I have the Ignite 450 with Fujikara regular flex shaft. I went to a 13 dgree on the recommendation of a friend. I am in my second year of play and have finally found the driver for me. I usually hit in the low 100 or high 90's. More often 90's now that I have the Ignite. I have been back and forth hitting drivers and 3 woods. This 13 degree has given me the control of a 3 wood off the tee and the distance of a driver.

wow, what a club. Last year, I hit the taylor made 540 xd driver and hit it about 245-275. When I replace dit with the ignite i was very pleased. I now have the ability to swing much softer, and still put the ball out there around 275-290. Also, I cam reel back at take a big swing on a par 5 or long par4. Last round that I played I tookm such a swing, and hit a 320 yard drive. I had an 8 iron in to a par 5! This is a great club, the best driver I have ever hit and feels absolutetly great when you hit it!

This driver was all i was looking for and more. Very workable, and extremely long, atleast 50 yards longer than my other driver...no jokes. Although my old one came from Wal-mart i think that is still impressive.
It's also extremely forgiving so its great for any handicap. Even toe shots were carrying farther than my old drivers total distance. Now with the Nike SQ out, you can pick up the Ignite for about half the cost of that.
when it comes down to it, if Tiger Woods used to use it...how bad can it be?

Model Reviewed: Nike Ignite w/Aldila NV65-s

This is a follow up from my last review. I have since upgraded to an Aldila NV-65s shaft, i was fairly disapointed with the stock shaft because it seemed liked there was a very small kick at impact and i like the feeling of that extra kick. I was also fairly inconsistant with it too soo i knew itwas time for a change. I got the new shaft and since then everything has been perfect my consistancy change dramatically and my driver were even longer hich i was not expecting and it has a nice kick at impact that i like its absolutly amazing with the Aldila shaft and its still my favorite driver i even like it better than that new callaway x460 its nice but the distance isnt was i was expecting.

I recently bought this driver on sale at drummond (Australian Golf Shop) for AU$250 after bargaining with the owner of the shop. I took the driver out to the course and launched them beautifully off the tee, but then it started to slice pretty badly. I was doing this for at least 14 holes and had no idea what was going on. Mind you I used to play with the old callaway BIG bertha 11deg regular flex drivers. The head on this nike makes it look like a 7 wood. Well I soon realised that I wasnt positioning the driver properly as it was my first time hitting a driver in the 400+cc zone. As soon as I did, I was hitting them dead straight and very very far. I almost landed the ball on the green on a par 4 315 meter hole. I smacked one way over the green on a 290 meter hole. So as you can see this driver definately goes. People warned me about Nike products and how bad they are, and now after seeing my tee shots, they have gone out to purchase the nike Ignite. By far the best driver I have used, however I did try the r7 425 and clocked that at 320 meters, but why pay so much for a driver when you can get the exact same results with this driver and pay less than half the price. My swing speed now with the Nike is roughly 112-117. For all you golfers out there, I definately recommend this driver, just line it up right and you should be fine. Happy Golfing..

I absoluty love the club. I had my mind set on the macgregor MACTEC NVG beforee even trying it but fortunatly i went into the launch monitors with a few clubs including the Macgregor NVG, Nike Ignite Taylormade R580XD and Orlimar 440 and Nike SQ. I was left with the Nike ignite 460. Its absolutly the longest driver i hit it was even better than NIke SQ with really suprised me but the SQ was a little bit more forgiving but overall through the statistics the ignite was the right club for me easly past 250 yards every time on the cheap launch moniters at Golf Town. I have a fairly high swing soeed 110mph for a 15 year old and the club take a little while to get used to but once you get it you REALLY can nail some drives but the main thing ive learned with this club is that you cant be afriad to give it a little but extra juice because swinging lightly with it is easy to fade. I wouldnt recomend this club for someone with a high handicap. Its not abd price for a good club either.

I have an Ignite 460 8.5 with an Aldila NV 65-X shaft. This driver is a gamer's club from my experience. It is very long off the face but you must hit it in the screws to maximize full potential. It is semi-forgiving on off-center hits but it is definately awesome when you hit it in the sweet spot. If you are a good player I definately reccommend it ,but for less-skilled golfers it will probably take some time to get used to hitting it. Once you get used to hitting it though, you will hit it farther and have total confidence in your clubs ability to perform at a high level. At first I didn't like it but it is well worth the effort to learn to hit this club.

Well i have never really been able to hit any other driver than my previous wilson deep red maxx, which still hit quite a frequent cut/block/slice/fade. I was playing with someone i knew when he overheard i was looking to buy a new driver, he immediatly said that he was selling his ignite to buy an R7. i tried the ignite out....and my god it went some! im only 14 years of age playing off of 18, and the second round i used this i hit a 300+ drive, which i had only ever done once with my deep red. this driver goes VERY straight and stupidly long, featuring a reassuring sound, if you are buying a new driver i HEAVILY suggest u try one of these out. i bought it after just 2 rounds for £65 (used but immaculate), a price which i am sure is extremtly hard to come by.

Model Reviewed: Nike Ignite 460 driver.

I replaced a Biggest big bertha shafted with a Proforce 65. I had a choice of 5 drivers to pick from.....free! (I won a contest.) After weeks of extensive research (cuz i wanted to get it right), I passed on the Cobra 454, the Callaway 454, the new Big Bertha and the Taylormade R580. The Nike 460 was it! Tee it normal, not too high, swing from the inside and BOOOOM. Outta sight. Ultra-forgiving, sounds great and loooooong. I removed 3 to 6 strokes off my game overnight. Case closed.
