I tried a demo at a local course, wanted to like this club very much. I like the way the club looks and sets up at address, beyond that it left much to be desired. It felt dead at impact. Well struck shots did not travel as far as others did, not nearly as far. I think Nike made a mistake making this club 45.25" in length, it makes the swing weight heavier than it needs to be. You get the feeling that it is difficult to really go after it with this club. I must say that it is better than Nike's previous offering...they are making progress if nothing else!

Just not as long and as forgiving as my Cleveland Launcher. Never felt like I really hit the sweet spot even though contact paper indicated that I did. Sound at impact was flat, not the normal, crisp, "I know I hit that one good" sound. The club was forgiving and is a beautifully detailed club with nice shaft and headcover. The loft was 10.5 degrees with the "A" (senior) flex Fujikura graphite shaft. I tried my best to convince myself that this would be my new driver, but I kept going back to the launcher.
