Best driver I ever hit. I'm only 15 with an average drive of about 250. I had to really hit the sweet spot perfect with my old Wilson driver, but with the SI3, I hit one off the hosel and it still went 230+ dead straight. It's super forgiving. Even more then the Taylor Made 580. I demo'ed a black 9 degree stiff and it launched the balls like a rocket, then I tried a blue 10 degree regular flex with. Both we're fantastic. I'm getting a 8.5 degree for Christmas because I loved it so much and plus I hit my driver very high and it kills my distance, but I still get 235-245 on the carry with it. Just go to you local ping dealer and demo it. It's worth it 100%.

I have been playing the Titleist 975J-VS 8.5 degree with Vista Tour Pro 70 Stiff. Geat Club! I hit it well but lately I have been playing golf with a number of players that play the Ping SI-3 and they have been outhitting me. So if you can't beat them join them. I picked up a Ping SI3 with the Graffaloy Blue and I am hitting it 15-20 yards longer and the trajectory is perfect. I looked at the Ping club earlier this year and was measured by all that computer ghizmo stuff and was advised to use a Ping 10 degree Regular Graffaloy Flex. Well the lesson here is ignore all that computer read out stuff and just experiment. Seeing is believing. I like traditional looking clubs but the results are just too good to pass up. I get used to the look everytime it goes 270 down the middle.

I demo'd this and if you don't slice, or if you snap hook, or looking for a straight flight look somewhere else. Great launch and distance but too easy to hook and has a big draw.

Awesome driver. Only words for it. I am extremely accurate with a driver and I have been using a Callaway Steelhead Plus for years. I wanted to gain a little distance, so I tried out all the news drivers on the market. This one gave me 25 extra yards. Forgiving, accurate, and long.

I have been using a Callaway Hawkeye Pro Series w/ 8.5 degrees of loft and although it is quite long, it can lack forgiveness. Accordingly, I tried a few different driver/shaft combos and nothing quite compared to the Ping (To note, my feelings differ considerably on the Ping ISI as that was not an easy club to hit). It is both long and incredibly forgiving. TM 510 was the only other club that seemed as forgiving. I would highly recommend this driver for anyone looking to hit more fairways.

First of all if you are wondering why i got the river for so cheap is because i work at a proshop so dont be surprised and think u got ripped off. Even after playing with this driver now i would have paid in full even if i had to. I used to be a player who was jus above 100 and now with this driver hitting them long and STRAIGHT i hit more fairways and greens in regulations. I used to think i was long when i was hitting the ball about average 220-230yds, but now after buying the Ping Si3 driver my average drive is around 260 yds. Although I am an average 260 i still when cathing it huge , Im sometimes around 300 yds. This driver should be marked almost ILLEGAL for huge hitters hitting it solid. This is most likely my favorite and best driver on the market rite now. Test it out and trust me u wont be disappointed. HIT'EM LONG!

I have literally tried nearly every Driver/shaft combo imaginable. (I reshaft my own clubs) Most recently trying TM 360XD, GBII, TM 580,etc. all with at least 4-5 different shafts. While playing with a friend 2 wks ago, I hit his new Ping Si3 with the Graffaloy Blue Shaft. Bought it first thing Monday morning went directly to the range and hit it amazingly staight & long. While I was pleased (I've been pleased far too many times after one session), I was eagar to test it during a "real" round. On Tuesday we played at an incredibly "tight" golf course. I hit EVERY FAIRWAY. No b.s.> every one.(Must have been years since I did that) I mis-hit one tee shot and it found the fairway with minimal loss of distance. This bad boy runs after it hits the ground too! I'm too old and my back too fragile to hit it 300 yds. but I did easily pick up an additional 12-15 yds. Hitting the center of every fairway 260 -270 works just fine for me. I was actually picking sections of the fairway to hit it in. (Felt like Kenny Perry) May not be for everyone but after countless other auditions, this baby is here to stay (in my bag). Attrative club. Can't wait to sneak it out on my money game group.

This is a good club. It may not match up well with my swing. Club or Shaft? Alot of reviews talk about how much "longer" this club is. In my case this is not true. I have used this club for two weeks, 10 rounds. My club, BBII, went back for warranty, thought I would try the Ping. The BBII, Fuji Vista Pro 70 shaft, for me, is longer and more accurate.

My buddy uses the Ping Tsi Tec driver and can really rip it...so I decided to give the newest Ping driver a try. Alongside the TM R540, GBBII, I found this one the most forgiving and best. Using the color code i was able to cut down on my fade.

Pluses: 1. For those who prefer smaller looking head. It does not look that big. 2. Weight. With Grafalloy Blue shaft, the total weight is just over 300g. You can rip it whenever u want. 3. Set-up. It sits really square when addressing. 4. Distance is pretty good, but not extra ordinally. 5. It depends on your swing, but shot dispersion is pretty narrower than others out there. Minuses: 1. Weight. Sometimes, it is a bit difficult to feel the head on top of the backswing. 2. Toe hits can be a disaster. 3. Natural tendency of draw. Intentional fade is a bit harder than others. 4. Trajectory is a bit higher than the stated loft. Must be effective loft. 5. Limited shaft options. What I mean by this is that heavier shaft, such as EI-70 or Penley 80/90, might screw its overall balance, making it even tougher to feel the head. Overall: Even though Ping is not my favorite equipment manufacturer, I must admit this is a good driver. I am not into oversized driver, but its shape does not look that huge. Very good CG position, just above center of the driver, making it fun to drive the ball right to left with a higher tee position. Not so good for power faders, but should be excellent choice for drawers or straighter seeking a touch of draw.
