Most flexible and forgiving driver I have ever used. It drove straight almost constantly and far... we are talking 275 -300 yards. Other drivers I have used fitted only certain swings and if you fit they were great. I have started to lose the extra penalty shots that added onto my score card like a plague. while I did not like the price, if you shop around, the price can be manageable.

This is by far the most forgiving and longest legal driver I have ever hit. I will have one.

I had been using the Taylor 580 but one hour with this club on the practice range and the Taylor was out and the Ping in the bag. The Ping has a more penetrating ball flight which lands and rolls. Yes rolls. The Taylor 580 had very little roll and cost me a lot of distance. The Ping has the same amount of carry but rolls and additional 15-18 yards. For me that is like the drivers of 6-8 years ago when you actually got added roll.

Custom fit was excellent.

This club is very long and at the same time is considerably accurate. At first I didnt like it but I got the hang of it on the second bucket of balls and it has been great ever since. good job again PING

This the only driver that I could ever hit consistently. So far I play 4 rounds of golf with this and I missed only 2 fairways!!! Every drive I hit goes right down the middle about 250 to 280 yards. I reduced my average score by about 5 to 8 stokes per round because of this. Absolutely the best I have ever tried.

This club felt awful at the store into the net. But, on the course the Si3 is a gem! It is as long as my 983K and my GBBII and it is straighter and more consistent for me. This is a great club that needs to be put in the bag and tested on the course. The Blue shaft makes it come alive and the harder you hit it the better it likes it!

GREAT driver !!! I am a "Driver Junkie" and buy and try almost every major driver that comes out. This is absolutely the best so far. My mistakes are usually a push to the right and this club has fixed that problem. Lets not go into the distasnce lies that you always read on this site but, suffice to say, it is longer than most and is absolutely, positively the straightest driver I have used. You DO get some roll after the ball lands with club and the ball flight is not quite as high as the others. Cobra 427SS and Taylor Made 580 were probably as long but not nearly as consistentaly accurate as this club. Amazing how much length Ping has been able to build into this club and keep the head size down under 400 cc unlike the other big headed drivers out there. I bought the black dot and the green and they both hit same distance but green was much more consistent for my swing ( my irons are the green dot so I should have known better !! ). GREAT club if you get the right fit !!! That's the key with this club !!!!

Model Reviewed: Ping SI3 9 Degree Square Face

I like the SI3 for its size and distance but do not like it for accuracy. I used to use a Callaway Biggest Big Bertha and it kills the ball with a little draw. With the Si3, i see 10-15 yards longer, but I hit a fairly large hook with it. This might be a good club for the slicer, but it is just not right for me.

I absolutely love it. Previously owned the TS SI but the Si3 is a Rolls Rooyce. I added the ProForce65 shaft and it seems to have set this club off. There seems to be a lot more torque and the balls rockets off the club face. I want get into how much distance added to my drives but I am more than pleased with the results.

Very impressive product from PING. Driver feels smooth, balanced, and easy to hit. It is very forgivng and is noticeably longer than my old 975D. I actually like the sound of the Si3 very much. Custom options guarantee that you will be able to find a combination for your swing. The stock Si3 shaft is surprisingly solid.
