Ping has done it again! This is a superb driver with excellent balance and feel. The Ping fitting system that is so successful in its irons works with this driver as well. In Ping irons, I play a blue dot (1 degree upright) and demoed the same in this new driver. Trajectory maximizes distance for me in this club and the flight is a slight draw. While some may not like the dull thud at impact (not atypical for a titanium face), you can actually feel the ball propel off of the thin club face and the results should overcome any concern over the sound at impact. Some golfers may also be put off by the very deep face (do get three inch tees!), but when you set the club down, it actually gives the impression of being more compact than many of the other large headed drivers. Previous drivers on my best hits would get me 250 yards, but with this new Ping I'm increasing that consistently by 10 to 15 yards. And, it's incredibly forgiving. This is a beautiful club and confirms the status of Ping as a truly innovative company.
