A phenomenal club. I never enjoyed teeing off because I was a pretty weak hitter. I now can hit drives up to 300+. An added bonus: drives are much straighter. I would recommend this club to anyone. Similar Products Used: : |

Ping Tisi 8.5*
Let me say this right up front...This driver is nice. I have owned two of them, 10* and 8.5*. My 10* had the regular shaft and the 8.5* had the stiff shaft. Distance is decent, control is better. My only problem with this club is that the stock shafts produce a ballon trajectory for me, rather than send the club back to the factory to change out the shaft...I just sold it. The only drawback for this driver is not being able to change out the shafts easily. Otherwise this club is pretty nice. I did not get custom fit for the driver, just bought it off the shelf. I should have gone through the trouble of getting custom fit and finding the right shaft for my swing at that time. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, GBB, Callaway Hawkeye |

It is long and straight--with the right shaft that is. I made the unfortunate mistake of purchasing this club with the stock shaft. The 350 series Adilia shaft is the absolute worse! I have the RUD hosel (draw enhanced) and I hit nothing but fades! I haven't hit a fade off the tee in 5 years...until now that is. Replacement shaft=$100-150 and it takes approx. 13 weeks from Ping WRX! Shame on me, mail order sucks. That said, the craftsmanship of the club is top notch. Unfortunatly, a poor fit for my game. OK, when I got this club I was very impressed, I added 10 yards and much more consistency to my drives. After a while things got ho-hum, and I actually thouhgt about changing drivers. A friend talked me into getting a ProForce75 shaft in it from Ping. OHHHH MYYYYY. I no longer left the ball out right, and I GAINED 15-20 YARDS OVER THE STOCK SHAFT! The last club in my bag in danger of losing its spot is now the driver, and I love this club so much I kicked my wife out to the couch and the Ping sleeps in her spot in the bed(just kidding about that one). Great club! Customer Service Wrx took 3 weeks, but did very good work. Similar Products Used: Everything, I take my game very seriously. |

A little while back I was searching for a new driver that was more accurate and longer. I went to my golf course and asked them for the Ping TiSI and various other drivers. I had tried my friend's driver the day before, and couldn't hit it in the air at all. I hoped the results would be different at the range, however they did not change. The few good shots that I hit went far right, and when I hit it straight it didn't nearly go as far as its competitors. The club head is just so big, I had trouble with my swing and setup. I hear all the time about how far people hit it, but I just couldn't hit one far enough for my taste. The feel wasn't that good either. I got a weird sound and vibration when I hit just a little off center. If you are looking for a new driver, look at this one, but definitely try others(especially Titleist) before buying. Recently replaced my Titleist 975D 7.5 degree True Temper E-70 S-flex with Ping ISI 8.5 degree Graffoloy Prolite stiff. Purchase through Ping WRx to retain warranty. RUH JX hose. I love this club. My slice has been replaced with slight fade and draw. Seems to always make good solid contact. 300+ yards drive consistently. Highly recommend to guys wanting to improve driving ability. Well worth the $$$$$$. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D, Adams FC 824 |

This is an update to my last review of this club. I have now played 2 rounds with my "modified" TiSI and have to say that I am changing my tune. I had the stock shaft replaced at a local dealer-Non Ping authorized of course-from a regular flex to a UST 65 stiff. While I have to admit that the colorations on this shaft (gold and purple) are a bit over the top, the performance is unbeleivable. My fade is gone, my draw has returned and my drivers are indeed longer. FYI the UST shaft change ran me $127...OUCH! My suggustion is this, order the club thru Ping WRX and have the right shaft built into the club to begin with. The cost is less and it keeps the warranty. Ping will change the shaft and only charge you $95, but you will wait 13 weeks--no mater what they claim! Similar Products Used: None |

PING TISI 9 RUDin stiff adila shaft
Owe my breaking the 80 barrier to this club long and straight extra 20 yards at the minumum with a slight draw. The person below needs to learn how to hit or get some lessons it is almost impossible to hit a fade with the RUD version of this club and it only costs 90.00 to get your club reshafted through Ping WRX. Suggest to the guy below to get some lessons and stop dogging one of the top 3 drivers on the market. Customer Service Excellent costomer service Similar Products Used: 975D Hookeyefrom Callaway |
