Ping Ti SI Drivers

Ping Ti SI Drivers

DESCRIPTION

From Ping: At 323cc the TiSI is the largest, totally custom-fit titanium driver available today. More importantly (for most golfers), it's also one of the longest-hitting drivers on the market.

Model Reviewed: Ping TiSI, 10 degree loft, A-flex with RFS Hosel

I bought this driver cheap because it was an A-flex (better suited for my swing speed) and had a rather unusual custom hosel configuration (2 degree flat). I was getting about 220 with my previous driver and am now getting 240-250 with the TiSI. I have hit 300 a few times as well, something I never did before. Tee shots tend to "balloon" as with most titanium drivers, and I would have preferred to have the draw inducing hosel to take out some of my slice, but overall this is easily the best driver I've ever owned.

It took a bit to get use to the size and I have to remember to swing nice and easy. Unlike many of the other reviewers, I do not drive +270. Admittedly, I actually lost a bit of yardage from the TI Pinseeker, however I am in the fairway more often with the Ping. I did not purchase the club for distance as much as I did for its forgiveness.

NOT A BAD CLUB. THIS ISNT THE WORST CLUB I HAVE TRIED , BUT IT IS BY NO MEANS THE BEST. DIDNT FIND IT VERY FORGIVING. BUT IT WAS LONG WHEN YOU CONNECTED PROPERLY IN THE MIDDLE. THE CLUB WAS TO ERATIC AND AT THE END OF A COUPLE OF ROUNDS I HAD LOST ALL OF MY CONFIDENCE IN THIS CLUB.

i was so much looking forward to trying this club over a period of time , my brother lent me it for 3 weeks while he was a way on holiday. i have tried this club on the driving range whith no great sesults. so a chance to use it extensivly for 3 weeks would surely give me time to get it going. i spent over 1 hour a night on the driving range of the first week. then took it out on the course the next. i dont no what to say other than it is the worst driver i have ever used and believe me i wanted this driver to go like noother but i just couldnt get it to perform . i think med-high handicapers would really struggle with this club. there seems to be very little forgiveness in this club considering its size. and a balooning affect like no other i cant see why people think it is so good. 3rd week put my new taylormade 320 ti driver back in my bag lovely even of centre hits go a good distance but thats another review.

I received my Ping Tisi Left Handed 81/2 Pro Force 65 Gold Stiff Flex approx 3 weeks ago and have been more than satisfied with my purchase. It has been very easy to control and I have increased my yardage 15-20. I appreciate the reviews others have submitted and this was the deciding factor in my purchase. Highly recommend

this club is horrible there is no forgiving in this club what so ever . if you hit it slight of centre it goes but the loss of distance is huge. it seems to balloon like no other . icant see how people say its so forgiving, they obviously havnt tried the new taylormade 320 series. that is a forgiving club

THE PING IS A GOOD DRIVER, I THINK THE FACES ARE VERY WEAK THOUGH, I HAVE BEEN THROUGH 8 DRIVERS IN ABOUT 14 MONTHS, ALL THE FACES HAVE CRACKED.I GOT TIRED OF GOING TO THE GOLF SHOP ALL THE TIME.
I FINALLY PURCHASED THE TAYLOR MADE 300 SERIES DRIVER AND WOW!!! BUT THATS A DIFFERENT STORY.

Great guns. I've never been so confident hitting a driver before this one. Just started playing 7 months ago, sliced my TI2 most of the time. Now I am driving short par 4s. My slice has been change to a little fade, which I can live with. Expensive, but I would purchase it again.

Well I have to say this is a great club. Only if you have the right sahft and loft. Im 16 and a decent golfer.( I have shot in the 70's) When I hit this thing it shoots off the clubface very high somtimes, somthing I really don't care for. This thing is great if you get a shaft with a low torque and stiff shaft. The stock shaft is a piece of sh*t. I fade it alot when my natural shot is a soft draw. A big hitter, just be shure to try lots of shaft options before you fork over the dough. I think I'm going to try the new Titleist Prototypes coming out. Good Luck with this monster.
