a very forgiving club, I ordered the shaft 48" long to give me the extra distance as I am not that long. The extra shaft length took me a while to groove in.. I usually hit a draw so getting fitted with the RSS made sense and I can pretty much swing away and not worry about duck hooks...but if I put a bad swing on it... it will slice or duck hook...but saying that.. I didn't drive it 300 yards ... but I think that I only hit a 300 yarder at sealevel twice in my life... and had the wind at my back...anyhow... I did hit it further and more consistently than my goldwin.. probably 20 yds further but I also have 3 more inches too...

This is one of those golf products that dreams are made of. This really made a difference in my game. Probably dropped 3 or 4 strokes off my round. I used to hit a Callaway Biggest Bertha. It was like a slot machine: when I hit it solid, it was a jackpot; but most of the time it was a bust. I changed the shaft, and that helped, but it still was a difficult club to hit. When I demo'd the TiSi, from the very first swing (after being fitted), I knew I'd found something special. I lost maybe ten yds off the jackpot hits of the BBBertha, but I am consistently in the fairway and still hitting my drives around 275 yds. I also went with a 10* on the Ping whereas the Callaway was 8* which could account for the distance difference. This club really does make a difference!

Not too upright like 975D and 360Ti, too strong lofted like 976R, too closed faced like Callaway and Royal Signet Ti, or too green like Nirvana. Just right. Plenty of juice without fighting hook.

8.5* RUD R-Flex
This club is money!! Smooth through the downswing and very light. Accelerates through impact with no twisting. I average 50 yards more than my Honma LB and Callaway Bertha. That is 50 yards and straight!

Customer Service

Excellent, fast, and fair price.
Returned club to change hosel and shaft.

This is it! The ultimate driver ever. I used to play a 10* Callaway Warbird, RCH96 firm flex, and this outshoots it by 50 yds, and it's just as straight! It is the best driver on the market, and believe me, I have tried them all; 975D, TM 300 series, VFT, ERCII, Steelhead Plus, GBB, BBB, Orlimar; you name it, I've been there, done that. Oh yeah, BTW, I now average 275 yds off the tee (compared to 225 with the Warbird). I don't hit my irons exceptionally long (5 iron 190 yds.), so this driver has to be good.

A cinder block on the end of a stick best describes this driver. It is a nice hitting driver, very intimidating at address, and long off the tee. I would not recommend this. Ping has long been superior in irons and putters, but not drivers. I did not like it because of the feel (like I said it is like a cinder block on a stick).

Like many people I was looking for some extra tee-off distance. I'm a 12 mark and drive 230ish. I bought this club based in part on the reviews at this site but I have to say it really disappointed. The club started with a stiff BiMatrix shaft but I pushed everything so swapped to, what I was told was a more forgiving shaft, a regular UST Proforce 65. Same results and the club is up for sale! I'm sure it was me but what a bummer.

Customer Service

I did get good and polite service from Ping.

I have been golfing for 12 years, and my biggest problem has always been consistent Length and direction off the tee. My driver evolution is as follows, my first driver was the Powerbilt Grand Slam Persimmon followed by the TM burner then the Callaway War Bird. I just upgraded to the Ping TISI and my drives have never been so good. I hit it long and straight every time. I am a pretty good Iron striker hiting 5 iron 200, 2 iron 230, And my drives now exceed 260! This club has changed my game, and I will never again pull out the 3 wood tee to be safe off the tee!

This is the best driver I have ever hit. In the first round I used this I improved my distance by 15 yards and I found it hard to hit duck hooks and huge slices. You can fade the ball too if you get the non offset version. I love this club so much I want to hump it.

Got the 8.5 deg. RXD with the ProForce
65 stiff. I am 6'4" and went with 45 inches. Length is fine and it is a little easier to turn.Driver is about 25 yds longer over my old T. Made Bubble. Trajectory is great, would look at an upgrade in the shaft is you have the club head speed. UST is great. Ball is really hot when it hits. You may want to buy some 2 and 3/4 inch tees. Head is so deep you need to tee it up higher. Great club.
