I was looking for a large headed driver to replace my aging BB Warbird. I read about the Taylormade 300's and decided to try them out. I tested the 320 and 360 during a snow storm and even under those conditions I was impressed. The clubs were light and easy to swing. The ball seemed to leap off the club head. With the 320 I occasionally sliced the ball which is unusual for me. I blamed it on the weather or me, not the club. The 360 with that BIG head gives you confidence at address and launches the ball long and down the center. Even poor hits resulted in decent yardage and stayed straight. This is what I was looking for, good distance and accuracy. It's a little expensive, but no more so than other top of the line drivers. So I cleaned the snow off the club and bought it. Taylor Made 320 9.5* S-90
I did not want to like this driver. The head is a little too big for my tastes and it's a Taylor made, and they haven't made any traditional products that I've ever liked. So I didn't hit my Christmas gift, trying a demo model instead so I could keep mine new and trade itin for that Hawkeye Pro Series I've had my eyes on. But shoot, one trip to the range and guess what! I like this! Broad head makes it tough to hit a bad shot. Miss the sweetspot by a little and its still a really good result. High, long carries, longer and much more consistent than anything else I've hit, including my Mizuno Forged. The stock Lite shaft is surprisingly good. Very low torque, I'd guess about a 3.2, and very light. Good hits feel quite sweet, misses feel a little harsh. Not as sweet a feel as the Hawkeye. But the shot pattern is tight, 5-10 yards either way, and did I mention long? A very good choice for most golfers. Similar Products Used: None |

Taylormade 320 Driver
The Buy.com tour visited our city about two months ago. A LOT of people were hitting it. One of the players was actually nice enough to tell me about it during his round on Sunday. I never swung it, but after seeing it, hearing it, and talking to the player, I sold my Ping ISI and ordered one through Golfdiscount.com. They were the only ones who carried/sold it at this time. I got it in 24 hours, re-gripped it (the stock grip was weak), and after hitting it once, I was sold. This club is going to be huge. I only wish I could have hit the 360 before making the buy. It's a very attractive club to look at, it's very lightweight, and for 320 ccs, it seems a lot smaller than the Ping. Both clubs are solid, but the Taylor Made is the best club I've ever swung. 360 (R-80) was long and penetrating. Had to settle for the 320 (S90) to control the flight. Love it to bits. Would prefer a Bubble shaft in the 320 though. Awesome power!!! Very straight. Customer Service After 4 hrs of purchasing the 360, something came loose inside. TM replaced without question. A very very good club, this is the easiest driver to hit the ball i have ever used and believe me i have tried alot of them. This driver gives you so much more confidence than any other because it seems to be so forgiving. I dont normally hit the driver very well anyway but this club has given my game much more distance of the tee. Now i just take the club out of the bag tee it up and have all the confidence in the world to hit it down the fairway , this club is a real boost to your confidence in hitting a driver. I like some others in this review have had trouble with the ball flight being too high. Seems to take off quite nicely then just balloons and lands like a butterfly with sore feet. So it seems there is way too much back spin imparted on the ball. Don't know if it is the shaft, plus the 10.5 loft, or just the shaft, but definately for me I have lost yardage. The face also seems shallow, so I need to tee the ball quite low to try and get the ball flight down. The good news is that I believe a new shaft will fix this, as I have never hit anything as straight so consistently. Also this driver is just awesome off the deck. If I could get the yardage back I would be reaching par fives. Similar Products Used: 975D,Steelhead, Mizuno |

Pretty straight off the clubface but still has the balloning effect common with most titanium clubs. Where everyone is getting their extra 15-30 yards from this club..I don't know. This club is no longer than my GBB 8 degree with a regular grafalloy shaft. I think most of the posters on this site work for Taylor Made. If anyone has any ideas for a better shaft for this club that would provide a lower trajectory, please e-mail me. Similar Products Used: Ping, Calloway, Mizuno |

Don't try to kill this baby, or you'll pay the price. You don't need to swing hard, it GOES AND GOES without much effort. I've gone from 230-240 drives with Cleveland QuadPro and Toski HRC, to 250-plus with 320. Sweet feel. Anything near the sweet spot goes long and straight. Tried the 360, but it looks too much like a bowling ball attached to a stick. 320 is big, but not ridiculous. Excellent product. 300 320
Demoed 300 and 320 extensively. 300 nothing special, not in same league as my titleist 975D. The 320 however is a different story. This club as other reviewers have stated is special. Sets up well, is light and easy to swing and EXCEPTIONALLY forgiving. It is hard to hit a BAD shot. Very straight and misses are still very good. I have found the the ball center needs to be hit center of face to get good boring trajectory and good distance. Strikes high on the face will result in high trajectory(as one would expect) BUT a very significant distance DROP-OFF. My titleist with its reinforced crown will still give fairly good distance on high face hits. The taylor 320 suffers markedly in this respect. In contrast to other reviewers it appears to me that flush hits with the 975D explode more off the clubface and carry more. The 320 while the initial takeoff appears good seems to drop out of the sky. Overall however, the FORGIVENESS of the 320 makes it worth serious consideration, it almost seems magical despite perhaps not being as long as my 975D - but when I miss I'd rather still be in the fairway or still playable than a disasterous result. One additional observation, really hard swings at least with the stock S-90 shaft had more of a tendency to push/fade/slice than my 975D with a EI-70 stiff shaft which is stiffer than the S-90.
