This is THE driver to have. And I have tried them all. I hit 12 of 14 fairways yesterday for the first time ever. I am hitting 280+ yards on drives without really over swinging. Now that's a driver! I am now able to hit a very reliable fade... something I could never do with my Hawkeye, even after re-shafting with a ProLite & UST. Forget Callaway. This new 320 is incredible. Even my playing partners were hitting drives that they couldn't believe. No need to muscle it. Sounds like a dream, and goes like crazy. Now I really have to work on my 50-100 yard pitch shots in order to drop down into the 70's!!

Customer Service

Very helpful. They provided very good information about their shafts which lead me to a good decision.

About a month ago I was playing the TiSI and slicing like heck. Then I tried the new BB VFT, but that was not controllable, and I wanted a big dog. So I took the risk of trying out the biggest driver on the market.
I am sure happy I did. It added 10 yards to my drive an I hit dead center in 14 of 14 fairways. (It seemed to fade about 1 to 3 yards on demand and draw 4 to 7 yards on command. A very good confidence booster and easy to control.
The 320 was almost as good, but it went a little too far and wasn't quiute as straight.
This is the best driver on the market and I would recommend it to players of all skill levels, especially beginners.
I wish it had come out when I was a beginner.
Great Driver... Buy one now.

having tried so many different drivers i came to the conclusion that i would never be able to use one consistently enough. so i use a strong callaway super steel 3 wood. that is until i had a go with the new taylor made 320 10.5 loft at a demo day. i casually walked over and thought what the hell i might as well top , slice ,hook one of these as well !!!!!!!!. i put my first ball onto the tee and swung the club at the ball. bbooooooooommmmmmmm, i couldnt believe it i actually hit the ball very long and straight. had a little laugh to my self and thought that was lucky.45 balls later i had only hit 5 bad drives, even the bad ones seem to go miles. i bought one straight away , it is now my favourite and most consistent club in my bag i cannot praise this club enough.i am hitting 8/9/wedges into par 4s now.i dont even think the price is to high either when you consider the price of the competition.buy it

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made 320ti Driver

After reading and hearing a lot about the new Taylor made 300 series drivers i was keen to try them out and see if they were as good as some people say but more importantly if they could offer any advantage over my existing Callaway GBB.

In the store i hit all three drivers 300,320 and 360. I dismissed the 360 striaght away as i felt the club was far to large for me (i am 5'8") and to difficult to control and get any real feel.

The 300 looked very nice and compact and not to disimilar from my Callaway. On the instore simulator the club performed well with nice straight drives and good distance. But the 320 appeared to exceed 300 in distance and accuracy. On miss hit drives the club seemed very forgiving and dispite the head size it still seemed easy to manage.

But althought they seemed nice to hit in the store i needed to see how they performed in real life. I took a 320 and a Callaway ERC along with my Callaway GBB and went to the driving range and then onto play 9 holes.

After warming up i hit a few drives with the GBB to see if the swing was in good shape and to set a benchmark for the other two drivers.

I tried the 320 first and after hitting about 30 balls concluded that this club was very forgiving. Good strikes were rewarded with a very straight and boring flight, while poor off center strikes still went a fair distance without to much movement left or right. On good drives distance was good but not any better than the GBB. On the downside i think that although the long club face helps with miss hits and is undoubtedly very forgiving i found it difficult to shape shots - too much fade or draw.

Next up was the ERC. Next to the GBB this club looks quite big but next to the 320 it looks small. It seems to me that changing to the dark colours gives the impression that the club is actually smaller than it is. The GBB looks like a 3 wood against the 320.

I was very suprised with my first strike. First by the noise, then by the distance. The noise is like nothing else !!!. Hit a good one and you will know its a good one. The distance, well i have to say this club is long !!! After hitting about 30 balls i concluded that yes its longer than the 320 and my GBB by about 10/15 yards (time in the air is very long) but i found i hooked a lot of shots and again like the 320 found that 45.5" shaft a bit difficult to control.

On the course i hit all three drivers on each hole and compared the results. The GBB very rarely lets me down and was solid and straight on most holes with good distance - althought i would like to hit the ball a bit lower. The 320 performed as i expected, very straight even with miss hits and good distance with a great boring flight. But i could not shape the shots very well. The ERC was a bit of a mix bag. The first drive was awesome, striaght down the middle, great flight and about 260 yards into a big wind. On the next 3/4 holes i hooked the ball badly but then hit a big striaght drive down the 16th much longer than the other 2 drivers (20 yards). But then the hook returned.

In conclusion i think that the 320 is a good club that stands out as a very forgiving club. The ERC is dinfinetly a very long hitting club fi you can control it. But for the money (ERC £450, 320 £350) neither club offers any significant advantage over my GBB. I am going to try the 300 and the new Hawkeye both of which have a shorter shaft as i think i would benifit from this. When i went back to the GBB after hitting the other 2 i felt much more in control of my drives and there direction. I am also looking at a custom fit of the ERC and with a shorter shaft so see if this helps with the control. Everyone wants to belt the ball 300 yards but control is much more important. So if it means using a shorter driver and losing 10/15 yards but being on the fairway then thats what i will do and i sure my handicap will drop.

One last point - I have read a lot of reviews on this site about drivers and peoples experiences and it seems to me that people tend to lose sight of reality. All those golfers who shoot in the eighties and nineties yet claim they are hitting the ball 270 - 300 yards with the driver and so straight. If thats the case the rest of your game is CRAP!!!!

Honest Opinion

I totally agree with the prior review. I think that the best way for ANYONE to truly find out whether or not a club is right for them is to demo for a while. This web-site is fantastic, and so is this club. I purchased a 320 after a terrible season with the Callaway Hawkeye (having the replaced with inferior stock Callaway shaft w/ both a ProLite and UST). I demoed all three drivers, and found the 320 to be simply amazing. Yes, the Titleist 975d is a truly superb driver as well. But I felt the 320 was more forgiving and quite a bit longer. The best thing a driver can do is give you CONFIDENCE. I truly feel confident with this driver, something I lacked with the Hawkeye.

I am able to hit a very reliable fade, and have been able to hit more fairways than anytime in my golfing career. And I owe a great thanks to this driver. This is now my most favorite club in my bag, next to my Titleist putter.
Everyone is entitled to their honest opinion, just as long as it's honest. It doesn't help any of us who really want to know what others feel about particular equipment to lie and badger top notch equipment.

Hit'em Long and Keep'em in the Fairway!!

This is the best driver on the market its long and very forgiving. The baloon ing effect wasnt there for me but for some players the grafalloy prolite would fix that problem. THe ping tisi is definently a close second and with the right shaft and specs can be almost as good but it balloons more and is less forgiving. The 975d is a great players club but is bad if u cant hit it on the sweet spot every time. 400 dollars is alot but it seems worth it for what it will do for your game.

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made 320

Just purchased Taylor Made 320 10.5* driver with S-90 shaft. I tried it next to the Ping TiSi, Taylor Made 300, 360 and Callaway VFT. I had more control with the the 320 than the 360, and the ball flight was more penetrating. I have a naturally lower trajectory with my shots and the TM 300 did not fit my style, it came off too low for me. The TM 320 looks great behind the ball and the feel is great. A smooth swinger will probably get better results than a hitter of the ball. The only ballooned shots talked about were the results of bad swings, good swings produced the ball flight I've been looking for to help me hit more fairways. Great club, I would highly recommend it.

When I went looking for a new driver the 320 wasn't even on my mind. I went in to purchase the Ping Tsi or the new Callaway VFT. The sales personhad me try the both and then brought other drivers to test. All three of the 300 series and Titleist 975D. I tried all the club and the 320 just performed better than the rest. It went straighter and longer. I ended up with the Taylor Made 320 9.5 and S90 shaft. It felt great and it just plain out performed the rest.
